Perfect fit for my 03 Mazda protege lx, all the brackets and hose-clamps are included. Remember to retain your original bolts!!! Very straightforward install,with extremely good instructions! Makes my car sound throaty over 3k rpms. Not really much of a HP gain but the throttle response is quite a bit quicker,and it cleans up the engine bay nicely. Over all this is a very good bolt on product that I would recommend to anyone.

I can't say I've noticed an increase in power, but fuel efficiency increased dramatically after install. I was getting 24 MPG and this went to 33+ MPG for my first two fillups after I installed it. I'm using the full Cold Air intake configuration here in Alaska, though I'm not sure if that's necessary. I may experiment with the Short Ram configuration and see if there's any change in performance.This definitely cleans up the engine compartment on my 2002 Manual P5. There's no way I'm ever going to put all that cheap looking plastic back on unless I absolutely have to. Given the relative simplicity of the Typhoon, I don't see that happening. Installation wasn't too difficult, it was harder pulling all the old equipment off than getting the new parts on.I got this for $250 including shipping to Alaska. Strangely enough, the price shot up to $335 after my purchase. At $250 this seems like a good deal, but at $335 I probably would have gone with one of the cheaper short ram systems.

Very easy to install, perfect match for my 2003 Protege5. Doesn't really add any HP but it is more responsive and the sounds more throaty when you step on it but at cruising speeds it isn't too noticeable, just what I wanted. Recommended
