Excellent Quality, Easy Install

I bought these after the stock rear struts on my (pre-owned) '99 neon failed completely, and couldn't be more satisfied. Took about 2 hours total to replace both between talking and inexperience (i.e. going slowly and carefully), but the install couldn't be any more simple. Could probably be done in half an hour or less per strut for someone experienced with it. Needed an alignment after install, but the ride has been the most smooth and enjoyable since I got the car. Definitely going to look to Monroe first for any other strut replacements

Quick Strut excellent product

This kit was excellent. Easy to install for the do it yourselfer with standard tools. Ride is great on these spring/struts. It should be mentioned in the description that you need a four wheel alignment after installing them. That was something I had not considered until I looked a the vehicle after installing them. Highly recommended.

Great gift, it's a fantastic replica

I bought this as a gift for my brother's birthday. Of course this is a display item, but predictably my brother put it on. The side padding makes it hard to put on at first, and the inside cushioning is just a hollow layer of foam. It's most certainly not for playing, but it's a great helmet and gift for a big fan.

The helmet is of great quality! It is not big enough to fit an above average sized head. I bought this for my brother who has a big head (not HUGE, but the guy's head is big) and it definitely would not fit him. Good product. Does NOT fit 2002 Camry

I bought this model because Amazon said it would fit a 2002 Toyota Camry 4-cyl LE. It doesn't :( It took two hours to get the old strut assembly out of the car only to find out the replacement one doesn't fit. Then another hour to put my original strut assembly back in. I've search many other websites and no one carries a front Quick Strut for a 2002 Camry, so I'm doubting that Monroe makes one at all. Other than the fact that it doesn't fit, it seems like a great product.

This is the wrong part for Lexus ES300. Amazon lists it for that car but I called Monroe and they indicated that 271678 is the right part for the Lexus es300. Otherwise great part. Check with the manufacturer before you order to make sure you get the right part.

Great for 99 Camry

I got these for my 99 Camry and they are great fit and function. The car is rock solid now without having lost any of its prior smoothness. The car was sitting up pretty high after installation, however it settled to required height only after a few day of driving. I would recommend these to anyone. Install was a breeze without any hiccups.

Monroe Quick-Struts for '02 Windstar

I ordered these Quick-struts from Amazon because they were so much cheaper than anywhere else. And I got free shipping. They arrived promptly and, with the help of my son in law, I got them installed without much trouble. I recommend the Quick-Struts over normal struts since you don't have to fool with spring compressors etc. They are much quicker to install than normal struts.

It does the job!

It took a couple of months to "break in", but I'm happy with the results. My 2001 Windstar no longer jars my teeth loose when hitting bumps. However, the ride is still not car-like, and I really didn't expect it to be. I later replaced the rear shocks with Sensitracs.

Japanese Rain Chain

I recently installed a copper funnel Japanese rain chain for use near my front door.Copper Funnel Rain Chain. I had never even heard of these things until a couple of years ago when I was trying to get some information about rain gutters off the internet. I saw quite a few links to Japanese rain chains and not knowing what they were I clicked on some of the links. I was really impressed with the idea and the various designs of them. Nobody I talked to had even heard of them so I wouldnt be suprised if I were the only one in the tri-county area that even has one. Well I might be exagerating about the tri-county area but I have yet to see one for sale at a "brick and morter" store. Anyway I went ahead and purchased my rain gutters and installed them myself and used the rain chain for the downspout on my front door overhang. For some reason I thought they would be bigger, maybe the size of coffee cans but they arne't. The top of the funnel measures three and one quarter inches across. I ended up replacing the section of gutter that I have the rain chain on because the downspout fitting was kind of cheesy looking so I got a new section and cut it to length (6 feet) and put the end caps on it. Instead of using a downspout fitting I just drilled a 1 1/4 inch hole in it. I had to modify the copper wire hanger piece but thats easy enough to do. All you need is a pliers. The rain chain was longer than I needed so I just removed some of the cups to get the length I needed. It started raining an hour after I installed it so I got to see it in action and it works great. As a matter of fact it's raining right now so I took a picture and will post it later. As for ordering it from Amazon.com I am once again a happy camper or customer as the case may be. They have never let me down.

Gorgeous alternative to gutters.

It is very expensive compared to a standard gutter down tube, but it creates a very unique look.These look really great in the winter when the ice builds up between links in the chain. And when it is raining they sound like a soft babbling brook--but not loud enough to be annoying.So far we haven't had any problems with durability. They handle heavy rain, and ice buildup without any problem. When it rains really hard they cups overflow a bit, but the majority of the water lands within a foot or so of the bottom. They are not very heavy, and we haven't had any leaves cause blockages.

Great Struts

Easy enough to do if you're comfortable jacking a car and changing a tire, you should be able to do this repair on your own. Most shops would charge over $1000, but you can do this job for less than half that. I replaced my front struts on my 99 Century w/ 88K miles. Previously it had been "wavy" at speed on the highway after hitting bumps. Now its smoother than it was from the factory, both on the highway and off. Before you would feel/hear a bump, but now you know you've gone over a bump, but there is little feedback to cabin. I have held out on replacing the rears but am tempted to do so. Also the preloaded struts can pay for themselves because they have all new bushings/nuts that may need to replaced in addition to the gas strut.

Best. Gun. Evar.

This thing looks and feels like the real thing when you hold it in your hand. It is not like all the others where you get something completely different than in the picture. Very powerful, very accurate. The only problem I had is that I used some really crappy bb's from China and they broke the loading nozzle in my gun - USE ONLY SMOOTH GOOD BB's!! Each time you shoot the slide goes back and cocks the gun and slides forward (in a split second). It is semi-auto. Can use powerful hfc22 gas. Disassembles just like the real thing. Orange tip easy to remove if that is your wish. Mine was oil based paint, but some places in America sell these with a removable orange plug. The only plastic parts are the loading nozzle compnents (inside the gun), the grip base, and the little covering on the bottom of the magazine - which can be removed easily. Only thing is that the Amazon price is a ripoff. Get it somewhere else like I did, for 90$. - DEFINITELY BUY THIS GUN!

SICK GUN!

I bought this gun at Jungletoy for the same price, but I got green gas a holster 3500 rounds a CO2 clip and some lube oil for the gun. the picture does this gun no justice, the gun is bigger and really heavy, its extremely accurate, easy to break down, easy to lube. one problem, you need to lube the gun almost after every other clip or else the round dosnt fire, odd problem that i had but if you have the money this should be the first item in your cart.

More Poor Quality Control

The unit was easy enough to install and make a big difference in ride and handling. However, after about 200 miles or less I began to hear a LOUD rattle from under the hood. I finally figured out the nut on the strut shaft had loosened, a lot. After several calls to Monroe Customer Service I was told to re-torque the nut to 50 ft/lbs. CS said that the nut should not have loosened. The exact same thing happened to a Monroe Quick Strut that I installed on my wife's Camry. Really poor quality control. Shame on you Monroe. These things are not inexpensive either.
