Preferred Foal Milk Replacer

A bit over 1/2 a year ago I found myself raising a week old orphaned foal. I started out using Land O Lakes foal milk replacer because it was what the feed store I was going to most of the time (at the moment) was carrying. After going through a few 20lb buckets I ended going to another closer store that carries Foal Lac so I bought a 25lb bucket. It was $5 more than Land O Lakes but also 5lb heavier so I figured what the heck, & Foal Lac turned into my replacer of choice. From the foal's view she really didnt seem to care what brand & drank whatever as long as she got her meal (lol), but this brand was actually easier to mix & easier for her to drink. For a very long time I couldnt get her to nurse off anything else besides a Pritchard Nipple, & because those are designed for smaller animals the whole nipple & the opening the formula comes out of is smaller. I say this was easier for her to drink & me to mix because with Land O Lakes no matter how much I mixed it there would still be clots of powder that wouldnt dissolve even when mixed with hot water so the end of the nipple would get clogged, & I ended up having to use a toothpick or something to unclog it if she couldnt get it (which was most of the time). Foal Lac takes less blending & after little mixing there was generally little to no powder residue, let alone clots at the bottom of the container I mixed the formula in. Overall the quality appears better as well. I highly recommend this & will use it again if I ever end up with another bottle baby.NOTE: Pricewise I guess it depends on the area, but where I live, if I was paying full price (im a regular at a few places so sometimes I get discounts), I would pay $74.95 for a 25lb bucket so for now, this is definitely more expensive online.

Great Quality Mic

I'm a student at Berklee College of Music and do a lot of amateur recording with a simple studio at home. I've always used MXL mics, and ive never been disappointed with their low cost solid microphones. I have had a few small diaphragm condensers in my arsenal, and thought I would benefit from a nicer one. So far i've used this mic on my upright bass, and a few different acoustic guitars. I am still working on the correct placement with my upright, but the results so far are sounding very promising. With acoustics, it is wonderful. The sounds is very even, no boominess or sharp highs, just a very clear sound that is well replicated. I would like to try and get another for an x-y configuration. I would absolutely suggest this for someone who needs to record strings or acoustic instruments and yield a professional sounding recording on a tight budget!

Great for what it is!

Even though I gave this five stars this is NOT a five star microphone. If you think you can get a 5 star mic for under a hundred bucks (delivered no less), then you have been smoking something.The mic seems well built and is very well packaged. It works fine. With two capsule patterns (cardioid and omni) you can get a wide variety of sounds. Self noise is not a problem at all.I'm using it on my acoustic guitar and it works well on that application. My playing skill is much more of a limit than the sound of the mic!!No its not a neumann km184, but for this kind of money its an outstanding value.

Two 14-15" all-natural hardwood logs injected with shiitake spawn that will produce mushrooms every two months for years, or, by alternating the producing log will provide a harvest every month. Grow indoors with plants or outside in shade. To produce mushrooms soak it in non-chlorinated ice water for 24 hours in their own soaking tray. Harvest in 6-10 days. I purchased this kit as a birthday gift for my food-loving father. He is thrilled! The kit is complete with everything you'll need to enjoy beautiful tasty shiitakes on a regular basis. The instructions are very thorough and easy to follow. He's been growing mushrooms since October now and every crop is better than the last. This would make a wonderful gift for anyone interested in food!

Terrific Purchase

I couldn't love these logs more. I posted a customer image of my logs just one week after receiving them, showing all the mushrooms growing on them. They also taste great! Much better than the commercial kind grown on compressed sawdust. Plus, it is so much fun to watch them grow! I looked forward to getting up and seeing every morning how much progress they made.I also calculated I will be saving money in the long run. I purchased shitakes frequently from the grocery store at $3.50-3.99 for a small package, so based on my buying habits and a very conservative estimate, these logs will pay for themselves in a year. Since they should last three years, that's great!

Product Was As Advertised and Arrived within 1 week...

While in Costa Rica last April, we brought 5 - 9.5 oz bottles home in our luggage and were down to the last few drops. We paid about $6/bottle in CR. We were desperate to get our hands on this salsa and had been googling quite a few sources. Found the best price was to order via Amazon.At first glance $24 for shipping 12 - 23.4 oz bottles sounded steep, but it works out to only $6 per bottle which is a steal. If you go directly to the De Mi Pais site, the shipping costs a lot more for some reason.Shipment arrived within 7 days of ordering it! More importantly, each bottle is sealed and the salsa tastes just as it did in Costa Rica. Wouldn't hesitate to order this again!
