Seems like a knock off to me

I bought this from the "Designer Shop" for my wife and at the same time she received a box set from Macy's and right away we both noticed quite a few differences.The Macy's set had a much more rich and complex smell as compared to this product having a more washed out alcohol heavy smell, the Macy's bottle construction quality was far superior and even the color of the box was a slightly different shade.So in all I'm very disappointed and believe that this product is a cheap knock off.

Must be a knock off

I bought this perfume based on the high reviews. And I must say, I am very disappointed. I have worn this perfume for years (since it first came out) and my sniffer doesn't deceive me.This product smells like a cheap, knock off imitation. It doesn't have the soft yet lasting smell like the ones I've bought from department stores.This is disappointing because I have always had good results from amazon. But with perfume, you are truly taking a chance when you buy them on-line because you can never be sure what you get.Don't waste your time here.

Had the real thing and this isn't it

This has been my favorite so i knew right away that this was not right. The scent was a fraction of what i have bought in the Department store and what scent it has wears off in less than a minute. This seems to be a knock off and i wouldn't waste my money. I was supremely disappointed.

Refreshing, hip and utterly wearable.

Ralph Lauren Cool stands out amongst the many fragrances on my bathroom counter - it's bright pink and turquoise bottle screams SUMMER! amidst a sea of other more subdued perfumes. It has a very clean and fresh scent that more than one person has complimented me on.

It's definitely a more young, playful fragrance than I'm normally attracted to, but it's one that still quite wearable to work, to the beach, anywhere, for anyone. If you've been searching for a fragrance that is all about Summer 2004, get this one before it's gone.

awesome scent

i first encountered ralph lauren, cool, when i was in the city shopping with some friends at sephora. as soon as i smelled it, i said "wow, this smells so...so....cool!" its refreshing and delicious. it smells like you could eat it. its fresh and spunky and ive gotten many compliments from guys ;-)

How long has this been in stock?

I always loved this scent and have been unable to find it and although it's available, it smells old despite the packaging never having been opened before I received it. There's a reason why it's hard to find, it hasn't been made for at least 4 years according to what I've read on the RL website. If you're a fan of this scent also, join me in writing to Ralph Lauren and ask them to bring this scent back. It's happened with other scents, maybe we can do it with this one, too.

Horrible Beauty Encounter!!!!

Both perfumes were horrible! I tried the same ones in-store and got samples of both. When I spray the perfume I got from a reputable department store, it lasts for hours. Both of these perfumes I bought from Beauty Encouter were so horrible that it would not even last one hour!! Unfortunately since it was shipped abroad to a deployed location it was not possible to return it on time and also there are restrictions for travelling with liquids etc.... I am so beyond dissapointed. I am very disappointed and do not want to shop from Beauty Encounter again and make sure everyone knows about the fake watered down perfume. You can see other reviews online about the fake and/or watered down perfume that people have said you sell if you dont beleive me. PLease make sure this feedback gets to the right department. I am going to allow sometime to hear your feedback becuase I post this ont he military boards and discourage people who are deployed to buy from your website It is little pleasures like this that keep people happy during wartime. The least you could have done is not send fake perfume to people deployed in warzones. Shame !!!!!!

Fresh like new

This fragrance was discontinued like 2 years ago and this product was well preserved that the fragrance still as fresh as new. It was the best xmas gift for my wife and she loved it.

Very very nice!

This is a very crisp sweet floral. I just love it, love it, love it! Wore it all last year. I changed again like I always do but I have wonderful memories with this scent. I think most women will love this scent dearly! Ralph Lauren hardly creates failed scents, he is a master of creation. May I also recommend Glamorous is also is a crisp sweet floral. Both are supurlative indeed.

I bought Lauren Style By Ralph Lauren for my wife assuming she would find it to her liking. I was pleased that she described it as not too sweet nor too strong and smelled as fresh and light after eight hours as when applied.

Product GREAT service HORRIBLE

I ordered this item from Perfume Target through Amazon on 12/10, it shb rec'd by 12/19 and was guaranteed before 12/24 this was a Christmas gift. The item was not rec'd until 12/26 the day AFTER, I sent an email to inquire and the response from Perfume Target was it was shipped and it gave me the info to track it, there was not even an apology, what HORRIBLE customer service, I sent another email in response and have yet to get an explanation.On the other hand this perfume smells GREAT this is my 3rd bottle, but my first and last from Perfume Target.Sincerely Disappointed with the service

I ordered 2 bottles of the perfume and I only received one. I don't know where to call or who to contact in order to follow up with this order. The perfumes were received in a plastic wrap versus the original box and I don't recall that being specified on the description of the advertising. Please let me know how to obtain the second bottle or a refund. Thank you

True Glamour

This is one of my all-time favorite fragrances. It's strong, yet soft; subtle, yet memorable. It's suitable for day or night, and this fragrance will satisfy any desire... and maybe spark a few in whomever gets a whiff of it. In my opinion, what makes this perfume so unique is the inclusion of calla lilies in the bouquet of beautiful floral scents. It's not often used in perfumes, but I can't imagine why. It creates such an unusually beautiful dynamic to the aroma that you'd think every parfumerie would be throwing calla lilies into perfumes left and right. But apparently only dear Ralph Lauren caught on to the classic aromatic qualities of the flower, and we get to reap the benefits of his excellent taste. Do yourself a favor and try this perfume on for size - I guarantee you'll love it. It bridges the gap from an average daytime floral perfume, to dynamic, striking evening-appropriate floral-oriental, and does so with grace and style that so many perfumes lack. Sadly it has been discontinued by Ralph Lauren, so hurry and get this one before it disappears for good.

Glamourous by Ralph Lauren is the most memorable perfume/cologne I have ever used. Each time I wear it, I get so many compliments from men and women, asking what I have on. It is a puzzle to me just why Ralph quit making it. If I could see him in person, I would beg him to bring it back.

I love this perfume

I just love this perfume. I have been using it since this perfume just came out in the market. I think it was more than ten years. The fraqrance is classic but not strong at all. Moreover, it is really long-lasting. Ralph Lauren are not making this perfume anymore; therefore, I switched it to Chanel Allure. I will not compare their smell because it depends on individual's preference. However, Ralph Lauren did make Glamourous very long-lasting, elegant and delicate. I got many compliments when I worn it. I don't understand why Ralph Lauren doesn't make it anymore. Hopefully, they will produce it again. I bet I'm not the only one who want them to do so.

Green- calm, lasting fragrance!

This was another one of my perfumes that was a birthday gift received about 3 years back. Got me hooked right away. I like my perfumes to last me thru the day. At the same time, they should not bite me. Thats the basic criteria. And this baby qualifies both with flying colors. very calm and soothing at the same time lingering aroma. I not only will buy this again, but will recommend to anybody who wants to try something new.

Fresh Cut Grass in a Bottle!!!

Well, most perfume is subjective, particularly with body chemistry. Portfolio Green smells like freshly cut grass on me, which was a pleasant surprise! It is clean, fresh and light, a pleasant scent, not overpowering. My only complaint, doesn't last very long.
