Healed GI tract, improved muscle strength

I bought this product without high expectation, thinking it could do no harm but might not help significantly. I was desperate...and am thrilled at how valuable it has been.My GI tract was in shreds from long-term high doses of steroid and bone-saving medication. Within 5 days, my intestinal pain stopped after 8 months of suffering, and the lining healed completely within 45 days. My gastroenterologist was amazed!I have a serious autoimmune disease, and taking steroids makes one vulnerable to infection. When I was living with school-aged children going through their normal series of colds, flus, stomach bugs, etc., this product strengthened my immune system to function sufficiently to not be sick when it was all around me!For almost two years I am paralyzed at L3 and didn't expect the claims of increased muscle function to apply to my "dead" limbs, but after 30 days or so I started to notice that the atrophying was not progressing, and then I found that I have ever increasing muscle strength and am gaining some movement and control. Yes, I credit this to the colostrum and extreme physical therapy--but it was after adding the colostrum that the unexpected improvements occurred.I am taking the maintenance dose (not stress dose), and do think that if I stop the effects could regress--this would be normal for nutrition-based natural therapies. Of course, I plan to continue using this product, and Amazon has the best price for the highest grade product!

Amazing!

My experiance was this was surprisingly dramatic. I normally only catch maybe one or two colds a year, and they are very mild. But due to some terrible stress I'm having right now, I've been catching one cold after another for over a month, along with food posioning. One cold I had lasted 13 days! After four colds consecutively and a bout of food poisoning that lasted over a week, I was exhausted and desperate. My immune system was so worn down, I knew it wasn't getting any chance to recover, and I couldn't keep missing work. In desperation, I went down to my local health food store to see what they had in the way of immune boosters and give my poor body a break.The lady behind the counter took this down off the shelf behind her and handed it to me, and told me a lot of people got good results from this. I'd never heard of it, was skeptical because I hadn't researched it, but wasn't feeling picky at that moment. I took the time to look up some reviews and figure out what I'd bought, and it seemed a lot of other people on the 'net had good things to say about it. So I felt more optimistic.The bottle says 2 capsules in the morning and two in the evening for regular maitenance, but in times of enviromental or physical stress to TRIPLE the dose. I was like "12 caps a day? Ugh! Too much!" So I pared it down to 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening.I got it on a Friday and ended up spending most of the weekend in bed feeling somewhat flu-ish, but not quite. I was having bad diarrhea, ached all over, was exhausted, and I smelled funny. All I wanted to do was sleep, so that's what I did over Saturday and Sunday. My current cold had been the mildest of the ones I had previously, so I knew it wasn't bad enough to be making me feel that rotten. I wondered what the hell was wrong with me, and wondering if I did something wrong taking 8 caps a day and I was having a reaction. I went online again, and while most places said you don't get adverse reactions from taking colostrum, a few did mention some people can get sick with flu-like symptoms and diarrhea from detoxing. I think now that's what was happening to me, and my body was just dumping all the bad stuff out of my system that I'd been accumulating for a month or more.By Monday I felt 110% better! The cold was gone, my digestion returned to normal, and I actually have more energy than I've felt in YEARS. I'm more alert, calmer, happier, and feel wonderful. What a RELIEF. I HIGHLY recommend this to anybody who needs some help with their immune system! It WORKS and it's worth the price!

Exceptional for healing leaky gut and correcting gut dysbiosis!

I just started using colostrum about two weeks ago. I've got severe, AWFUL intestinal permeability that resulted from years of chronic stress and a nasty systemic Candida infection. Daily I suffer allergies, multiple chemical sensitivities, oxidative mitochondrial stress, and chronic inflammation. I have no clue how I've managed to avoid an autoimmune disease, but it's something that I know could pop up at any time. I'm working really hard at healing my gut and restoring the proper flora, but this process takes time - several years. I've been gluten-free for a year, which did help slightly. However, the problem with leaky gut, especially when it's as severe as mine, is you can become allergic to any and every food you put into your body. This is definitely true for me.I've read a lot about healing leaky gut and am surprised that I don't see Colostrum mentioned more often. In the newborns that consume it, colostrum serves to seal the tight junctions in the gut. I reasoned, if it works for them, why wouldn't it do the same for us? So, here's what I've noticed since taking it (2 scoops per day, which is the aggressive, healing dose): I sleep MUCH better, often sleeping soundly through the night now. That hasn't happened since I got sick a year ago. Also, my immune system is much stronger. One of the reasons I wanted to take colostrum is its ability to modulate the immune system. I reckon that in my condition, autoimmunity is right around the corner. I'm hoping that taking this shifts my immune system away from autoimmunity and stabilizes it. I was on medication for two years that suppressed my immune system and hardcore antibiotics that wiped out my healthy flora. So, you can imagine how bad my gut dysbiosis is. I know the colostrum is working, because the first day I took it, I slept and slept. This continued for about a week. There is lots of healing going on in this wrecked body of mine. Prior to this product, my immune system simply was not working. Candida toxins can "turn off" parts of the immune system that keep pathogens at bay. Colostrum is the only product I've found that eases my allergies/chemical sensitivities, while turning back on the white blood cells that attack pathogens.This is a product I intend to take for a very, very long time, if not indefinitely. Over the last year, I've tried many supplements to heal my body and alleviate my chronic fatigue/adrenal dysfunction; colostrum is one of the few I've found to be indispensible. Healing the gut, replenishing the flora, and removing the toxins is the key to restoring perfect health. Colostrum helps on all counts and supplies the body with available, easily-accessible nutrients and antibodies to aid in this restoration. I also think it's pretty tasty stuff.
