Works great in a Porsche !

Every German car owner is very picky, ie typically I buy from known German car parts guys, and I am in the top 5% of pickiness (?) when it comes to my German girls.However, the alternator was a perfect fit and works without issue. Note, if you have changed a 911 alternator or done ANY in car 911 engine repair, you know that you want to go in there ONLY once...I went in, ie engine in repair, with this alternator and so far I have nothing but a positive outcome.

Good Unit

I had bought this one after purchasing a Airtex pump and installing it and that one failed shortly after installation. Needless to say the Airtex pump fell short of any quality or anything else- My original OEM pump had over 200K without issue. I had to re-drop the Tank and install the Bosch Pump which is what I should have bought in the first place. I Highly recommend spending a few extra dollars for the Bosch unit over any other brand. These units work out of the box and the rework rate has been very low. Save yourself time and money in the long run. Buy this one once rather than "Trying to find one that works".....So far over 5k Miles without issue.

Satisfies my expectation

This particular unit (others may be different) is branded as Bosch but the pump unit is a Walbro. Pump module is of good quality material and build, well designed ( it is not a carbon copy of the OEM unit). Only flaw I found was that a 5" return hose was not fitted but was no problem. Maybe not deemed necesary but, since all provisions for installing it were there, I put it in.Not disapointed for the pump not being a Bosch turbine unit as advertised (not Amazon's fault). Walbro is a well known high quality brand.This is what I would buy if needed to, again.
