5Monroe 171662L Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly

Bought all four for our Grand Prix and these things made the cars ride come alive again. It's funny though, experts recommend changing these every 50K miles but we changed ours at 200K. For the customers though, I really hope Amazon starts to sell them again because they have the best price and their shipping is always the best since nomrally it's free and super fast. Very easy to replace though. They might not align up perfect but all you need to do is get the top bolts on and then take a bar and twist it to where it needs to go. I'm not going to lie, the rear ones are a pain because there is not much room to work to get the bolts off but just take your time and you'll get it. I actually used an O-Ratchet which worked perfect for the limited space. If you are thinking about doing your struts and either buying the complete kit or the pieces and doing it yourself, save yourself the time, money and frustration and just by the kit because it's the only way to go! Everything is NEW!!!!

5Great strut assembly

Needed new struts for my 2004 Chevy Impala SS, has over 200,000 miles and the originals were whooped. These were priced right and easy enough to install. Much nicer ride now.

5Great product

Replaced the front and rear struts on my 2001 Cavalier. These made the process very easy, and I would recommend these to anyone. No need to worry about spring compressors or anything like that, these are one piece that just slides right in. I've never done any suspension work before and it took about 3-4 hours to change all 4 struts on the car. Next time it would probably be about 2 hours. Again, awesome product and I definitely recommend.

5Excellant Easy to install Product.

Purchased these for 2003 Chevy Cavalier. Actually Purchased front and back assemblies. These arrived well packed in cardboard with warning stickers saying don't remove nut on top, and since I purchased assemblies so I would not have to screw with compressing springs I'm guessing this is for the less bright. They come with replacement hardware for the top only so if your bottom bolts are rusted you will still need to purchase those. (Since mine were fine I just reused the old stuff)It took me less then 2 hours to do all 4 Struts. You should mount the top before bolting the bottom. You will need to pound out the bottom bolt on the front as it is Treaded after you remove the nut side. On the rear the wheel side nut is welded to the mount. IF you have the tools this is an easy one. Remember to consider getting your front end realigned after this repair. No Issues after install and car handles much better!

5So Glad I Went This Route

Even just a year ago I never would have imagined I'd be buying auto parts on Amazon. I've ordered a whole lot of high-performance parts through Summit, Jegs and Mancini Racing, but always just went to the local parts store for the daily driver. I paid just about half of what I would have at the parts store for these. I bought the whole assembly because my coil-overs were worn out, too, and because I don't have to buy, rent, borrow or fabricate spring compressors this way--like I would if changing just the struts. The whole operation was fairly simple, with basic tools, and the quality of the product is surprisingly good by today's standards. There were no defects and the car handles like new, now.

5Revell's RML is a winner!

All thanks to Sunstar's 'prototype', no doubt, but I'm pleased to see this excellent kit. (A London trolleybus would have been far more exciting but I suppose we should be grateful for any form of LT bus!) A high level of skill will be required and I may end up paying someone to make it for me - we'll see. Detail is stunningly good and Revell are to be congratulated on such a bold move.

5Great Model

Very good model of the old London Route Masters, a must for all bus collectors. Not a kit that can be rushed though must take time, and will need a good size space to work on it, other wise if one takes their time will have a great model of the RML Route Master London coach. If one was handy with plastic models one could cut one down to make an original Route Master RM coach, one would need to remove the middle small window.Maybe Revell can see it in their hearts to make at least the new sides so one can make either the original 27" 7 " RM Route Masters or the 30' RML which this model is.It leads it's self to many model kit bashes, open top etc, I am very happy with my model and do plan to buy another kit to shorten and make an RM route master model from it.

4does what its meant to do.

This camber arm does mount easily and works the way its spouse to. After years of wear my rear tires were on a negative camber due to the original cambers on my vehicle being not adjustable and warped over time. this kit returned my wheels to a 90 degree angle so Honda was able to properly align my vehicle ( 7th gen Honda Civic) . My only complaint is it seems a bit weak where the locking bolts are however its tightly held in place none the less.

    I bought this to replace worn unit on my 2003 Mazda B2300. You-tube has an excellent tutorial if you want to try this job on your own. No problems replacing old unit and this has a stronger construction and a grease fitting which could make the part last longer than the truck. Quick shipping and great service from Amazon in replacing the wrong part on one of the upper arms.

    4Fairly easy to install...

    I too have an 03 ZX3 with excessive rear camber. After receiving the Moog plate set...I decided not to use both the 1/2 * and the 1* plates on each wheel. Why? Because Moog doesn't actually recommend it...the instruction sheet says to use either the 1/2* or the 1* plates. Using these plates put a "sideload" on the bolt heads holding the rear spindle on the car...maybe 1.5* is a little too much??? At any rate they were fairly easy to install. I didn't use the rivets...I did RTV the plates in place over the old rivets. The (4) bolts do all the holding in place.I also added a "rubber donut" to each coil spring. This raises the suspension slightly (helps sagging springs)...stiffens the spring...and might reduce camber by maybe 1/2* or so. They also reduce "rolling" of the car on corners...which tends to wear the tires more.note: you do not get 8 bolts...only 4...you reuse 2 of the originals on each wheel.

    5Fixed My negative camber

    I picked up a 2003 Ford Focus and noticed that the rear wheels had an extreme negative camber. It was roughly about 2 degrees leaning in. I discovered that the Ford Focus has no adjustment for camber on the rear wheels, only a toe adjustment. I've seen some adjustable camber bolts on the market but this involves grinding off the welded-on factory nut on the trailing arm. These shims offer a total of 1-1/2 degrees of negative or positive adjustment (there's a 1-degree shim and a 1/2-degree shim). Installation was pretty easy (depending on how mechanically inclined you are) and after I was done my rear wheels are nearly perpendicular to the ground. I should have a more even tire wear as a result. These shims are high quality (made by Moog) and come with longer bolts and mounting rivets. If your Focus has a bad negative rear camber this is the kit to get...well worth the price.
