Great Struts, great price.

I now have these struts on both of our 96 Volvo 850's. They have a great ride, much better then the Koni's previously used and for less then half the cost! Also, these are made in Spain which is more comforting to know then anything made in china.

They are good for the price,but harder ride.

If you are looking to replace your front struts at a reasonable price, the Monroe Sensa-trac strut is good, the ride if fine, although you will feel every the road much more. It's not like riding a truck as someone said, but it is harder then the original Volvo struts. The original Volvo struts are double the price of the Sensa-trac strut, so if you looking for a Volvo original ride, get them. If you are ok with a firmer ride and you are trying to save some money, these will do.

Monroe Sensatrac Strut

These are good quality products delivered within a week. I saved about $50 on the 2 parts by using Amazon and their Free Super Saver Shipping instead of buying locally at discount auto stores. I went ahead and bought the other two to really upgrade my stock suspension with improved ride and handling.

Strut

Replacing struts is not usually on your scheduled maintenance but many shops will recommend it eventually. Having heard a terrible squawk from my car going over speed bumps I bought all 4 struts here on Amazon. I have always kept on top of my car's problems and fix them straight away. My 2002 Mazda 626 is a sorry little 4 cylinder but it looks near as good as the day I bought. Thanks to regular maintenance, staying on top of repairs and these new struts, it rides and runs near as good as when I first bought it. With 140,000 miles on the car it may seem trivial to replace struts. But to me, a car is not something to be replaced regularly like we tend to replace other things. Properly maintained and driven, a car can last more than a decade. Keeping them as good as new as long as we can, and putting aside pride of wanting to one up the neighbors on new cars, we can save thousands of dollars. So if you are someone that wants to keep a car and save your money, new struts can make a very worthwhile investment.BTW all 4 struts cost me under $200. The install cost $350 approximately. Less than the cost of replacing the timing belt properly.

Perfect Match

I bought this as a replacement strut for my 2003 Chevy Tracker. Once I got the old strut out (always an adventure with older cars), the new one went in very easily. My car rides much better now.

Nice but NO Mount

I ordered these for front struts on a 2001 chevy tracker and they look nice but they did not come with the strut mounts so now I have to wait to install them and spend another 60 bucks on strut mounts, not happy about that and thats why it only gets three stars!

Went from a car strut to a SUV strut, much better

I put these on my 02 tracker since the old ones were just bouncing on the springs, the ride improved and was more steady. Before I would bounce on curbs and would even fish tail on bumpy curbs, these struts changed that immediately. Great product, my suspension can now be compared to a Toyota suspension (I know because I drive my friends RAV4 a lot). Overall easy to change and for $10 extra bucks compared to the regular car ones, this was a great buy.

I bought the shocks from amazon because they're identical to the 1 sold in stores and they are 20 dollars cheaper each. installed them on a 1993 subaru legacy l and they work great. have been leery of ordering car/automobile parts from amazon but this product turned out to be very good. would definitely purchase again.

Monroe 71523 strut

Great item it was send fast and came new in a seal box. I was in low in $$$ and every ware i was going they wanted more then $800 to do my shocks & struts so i took a chance and it was a good idea i did i save over $500 i just paid $239 for all 4 parts with free shipping. For my 1994 325I BMW they fit perfect I recommend that if you buying this item to also buy the dust covers and struts mounts here on Amazon as you will save more money here they are just a few bucks not really need it but if you want to keep your car for a while then you should get them and there so easy to install just get a loan tool from your local auto parts for the springs and with the help of one friend you can have all 4 done in about 2hrs or less not even need it to remove the back wheels over all great item great price fast shipping A+++++.
