Amazing for a discoutinued product

I found this product 7 years ago when it was released for the companies 50th aniversary, and love it on my wife. She loved it as well. Since then I haven't been able to find her another bottle for nearly 5 years until this year. the scent is light citrus, and is not overpowering like many perfumes produced today.

My husband bought me this scent as an anniversary gift one year. It has a subtle, feminine fragrance that continually brings me compliments from complete strangers. This is the only scent I wear and it can no longer be found in the stores. Quite Pleasant & Likable

The positive reviews for Birmane are well-deserved! It's a modern oriental that is Perfume with a capital P yet light enough for warmer weather. In other words, it will appeal to like classic scents but have modern tastes, and I fit that description to a tee!Notes:Top notes include bergamot, pineapple, rosewood and lemon.Middle notes include rose, orchid, iris and heliotrope.Base notes are vanilla, Tonka, sandalwood and musk.Birmane is sweet but not syrupy or sugary, and it's a nice alternative to aquatics & colognes that are less bodied and rounded. Bucks the trends for the year of market introduction (around 2000) - could be much earlier, imo.I get citrus, pineapple, & a floral mix. The base wears beautifully on me and there's definitely vanilla in here! I usually love the listed notes, and I was not disappointed with buying this before trying it. Birmane is a must try for the oriental & woody lovers out there!I have it in the EDT, and lasting power is about as expected. Not sure that it comes in an EDP, which I would expect to be really nice in the winter, maybe even around Xmas. However, I like to wear it in warm weather.

sexy little secret

I forget how I discovered Desnuda. But I know I did so after Gianni Versace discontinued the original Versace scent, which I had worn for 20 years. Now I wear only Desnuda by Ungaro or The One by Dolce Gabana, and both are great. I find the Desnuda is slightly more nuanced and more on the oriental side. It's sexy, and I like the fact that very few people seem to know about the scent, nor do I ever see it advertised. Thus, I feel as if the fragrance is mine alone. I'm glad Amazon carries this.

A nice addition to a perfume collection

A true oriental: warm, heavy, very sweet, tons of vanilla. Yet Desnuda does not overwhelm. Unlike most orientals this one has a more youthful feel . I wouldn't consider Desnuda a "must have" but it is a good "extra" for a perfume collection.
