Elegant scent

Very elegant and contemporary scent. Top notes begin very sharp and clean, later warms to a woodsy peppery sort of base note. if you're the kind of guy whose chemistry causes most scents to become sweetish and well, "cheap" smelling, try this one. I've been asked more than once by women in close proximity what scent I'm wearing. If scents have seasons, this one would be autumn in the deep forest.

It's definitely a scent that will divide opinion, but Gucci Pour Homme is a really classy cologne. It's not a fragrance I smell on many other people, probably because it's very, extremely, incredibly dry and heavy. I guess it must be gaining popularity because two years ago I got my bottle from Amazon for $26. And even though it's a pretty old-fashioned cologne, I've been wearing and loving it, in a hot, humid climate, since I was 19. I think it's an amazing scent.

"worst premium cologne i've ever smelled"

This cologne did not smell like cologne. More like a spray. It didn't have any kind of masculine or even sweet smell. Can't really explain it, except for appalled. I would'nt endorse it. But it's just my opinion. I bought it because of the Gucci name. But it's irrelevant. Hope Guuci does better in the future.

I was last minute Christmas shopping like most male husbands and had been trying to find a perfume for my wife that I knew she wanted. Actually I had been to several department stores days before and they stopped carrying it on their shelves so had to turn to Amazon. I found what she wanted for a much cheaper price and the delivery was within 2 days as promised. The whole experience was very good and I would do it again. I am always leary about on line purchases and retrun policies but the wife loved the perfume.

Smell like a million dollars!

The first time I smelled this perfume I was captivated and had to have it. I am someone who usually uses body sprays because I don't like the price of perfume and usually feel it is too overpowering. Ysatis has been my signature fragrance since its introduction into the market years ago. I have always loved the fragrance and when I wear Ysatis I get numerous compliments wherever I travel. It is a shame that "celebrity colognes" have taken over the market and made this eau de toilette difficult to obtain. Thank you, Amazon, for sharing the vendors who carry this product with the customers who still wish to call it their own.

(Mrs. Veloman writes this review): Someone has labeled this as a scent for "mature women," but we disagree - I've loved it since discovering the joys of French perfume. If you like oriental, warm, floral scents but want something more individual than the plethora of fruity florals so common right now, this is a scent that is unique yet not overpowering. A quality perfume smells different on different people, and doesn't precede you into the room. My husband selected this as a gift a number of years ago, and I always come back to it after trying other scents - it is truly a favorite of ours with many happy memories.

Best perfume!!

I think someone else mentioned that Ysatis is everything a perfume should be. Ysatis is elegant and soft, not too sweet. I have worn it everyday for over 20 years. Since the day a woman walked into my office wearing it and it was the most wonderful perfume I had ever smelled. Just like everyone else, I get asked constantly about it if I hug someone (otherwise you can't smell it because I only wear a tiny amount) My mother was allergic to all perfume and so are many of my friends and yet Ysatis has never bothered anyone, even if I wear it stronger. Hands down the best scent!

Uniquely rustic

I first bought this perfume when I was 14 years old and didn't know anything about perfume! I only bought it because I was in France and I wanted a perfume from France. I don't know much more now, but I do know that I started using it again and really love it. It is NOT fruity or sweet, very rustic but still feminine. Very unique in today's perfumes and I get lots of compliments!

I love SENSI! It is the ultimate in sensual and alluring frangrances. I recieve so many compliments when I wear it till it is unreal. I just love this frangrance and I an going to buy another bottle just as soon as I can. This perfume is a keeper for the record books. I can not see myself without this fragrance. I never want to run out. I really just absolutely love this fragrance. I hate that I can not find it everywhere. Armani Code is good, but SENSI still TRUMPS Code in my book any day of the week!

Received a fake one

I love this EDT, but the one I got from Amazon (ships and sold by Amazon) was fake. Be careful buying fragrance online, especially popular ones. Now I think it is worth spending extra [...] bucks and buying at the local store.If you still buy it online - it's a good idea to do a blind test. Just go to a local store grab some paper strips that they use for testers, spray the tester from the store on half of them and yours on the other half (don't forget to mark which one is which). If after that you can easily tell which one is which not looking at the mark, there is a good chance that one is fake. You can also compare how long they last. Some fakes smell pretty close, but don't last.Hope this helps

Fake perfume from seller of Designer Shop

I ordered Acqua Di Gio By Giorgio Armani For Men (Eau De Toilette Spray 3.4 Ounces) via Amazon on November 23, 2008, and the seller is: Designer Shop.This was the first time I purchased perfume from Amazon. I didn't know that even if the order is placed through Amazon, ordered item will come from different sellers. So, new buyers, keep an eye on WHO IS THE SELLER, take a look on the seller's review and make sure the seller is reliable before you place the order.I had an unpleasant experience with Designer Shop. I didn't get my item during the estimated day: Nov 28 - Dec 3. It was 7 days late. That's still OK to me, as long as it arrives before Xmas as a gift to my husband.HOWEVER, the item I got was not the one I expected. My husband has been using Armani Acqua Di Gio for more than 3 years, and he's very familar with the scent. The Acqua Di Gio from Designer Shop doesn't smell as same as the one he used to use. Moreover, the one from Designer Shop has strong alcohol smell, but the scent last very short.(I usually buy the perfume from mall. My friend told me there's an 50% off perfume deal on Amazon, then I took a risk this time).I left a negative feedback to the Designer Shop, and I got the email from them the next day saying they would refund me. BUT, 14 days after their reply, I still NOT get the refund yet! I already email them back today, request them to refund me within 5 business days. If still no refund, I will file A-TO-Z complain.I had to go to the mall to buy a bottle of REAL Acqua Di Gio the day after Xmas as a late gift for my husband.I would not purchase any perfume from Amazon, at least NO from the Designer Shop. It's not worthwhile to get so many trouble and a fake stuff for 50% off price.

I hate to say that I might be one of the victims who have the fake version. The scent is identical. However, the scent is gone after 10 mins. That's even after 4 sprays.. I bought this from Amazon too.
