Beneficial air intake, great price here at Amazon...

I installed this on my wife's 2003 Honda CRV, and after using it for a few months now - we find it beneficial. Hers is a commuter car...our intent was not to "hop-up" our little CRV, but get more response as it is just a 4cyl automatic. We do get better response - most noticeably at highway speeds. Also, the fuel economy has improved a bit which my wife noticed on her own (I didn't tell her about that part!). It also sounds just a wee bit louder...only when you step on it really.A side benefit is all of the room this leaves in the engine compartment after removing the bulky stock components.And the price here at Amazon was a bargain - none of the retailers where I live even came close.The only gripe I have is that the instructions & photos were poor & lacked detail. Because this product fits several different vehicles - they kind of generalize & gloss over the whole procedure...not a good place to get cheap guys. So, you have to be VERY CAREFUL when removing emissions hoses - and exactly which ones. Because of the tiny photos & unclear description - I accidentally removed and broke a $150 fragile plastic stem off one valve. I thought it was the one they described & in the lousy picture, but it was the wrong one. Parts guy at Honda dealer says the only time he sells that part is when customers install K&N air intakes!And what a shame, had the instructions/pictures been half reasonable - it would have been a 5 minute breeze to install!Otherwise, this would have been a 5-star product.

I install K&N on ALL my vehicles. Better throttle response, better gas mileage. This one went on a Honda CR-V, also have them on all my other vehicles.

Fine Modification

The K&N air filter is the only product I have ever put on my cars. The filter gives the car a little more power, and makes the muffler sound a little deeper. As for gas mileage it really doesn't improve any noticeable amount. I really bought this because I didn't like the stock filter on my rsx, and my air filter needed replaced. All in all good product, and I would recommend it to a friend.

Worth it!

Very easy to install. Bolts right into factory mounts. Considerable gain in throttle reponse and power. VERY loud and throaty sounding. Have'nt noticed a change in MPG (still having "fun" with it). Wish I had put it on the truck from day one.

Great throttle response, not better MPG

I have put a K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit Gen2 Air Intake Kit on my Chevy Tahoe and Honda Civic. One thing that is immediately noticable is the greatly improved throttle response. When you press on the pedal, it jumps off. We have not really enjoyed a significant improvement in MPG. It may help a tad, but driving style and tire pressure I think our bigger influences on the MPG you get.When excelerating heavy, you will have a significant increase in engine noise. We actually like it, but some may be annoyed. The best part is not having the guys who change your oil trying to sell you a $10 air filter for $30.

Tahoe

i installed this unit on my 2004 Tahoe. It was a little harder to install than anticipated. Took 3-4 beers. Had to cut a good chunk out of my fan shroud. Looks sweet though and definitely gave me some good power.

Take off improved a noticeable difference right away. I recommend this product. I had just the K&N filter before I installed this cold air kit, I should have just bought the cold air kit first. I recommend it enough that I will be buying one for my wife's 2004 Tahoe soon. Easy install, took me an hour on my 2001, only had to drill one ¼ hole; no cutting needed for it. Excellent Product

First of all, I bought this on Amazon. Best price anywhere on the web! It does everything K&N says it does. Installed myself. Not difficult. Within 1 full tank of gas I noticed an increase in fuel economy. I drive a 2004 Grand Cherokee V8. Increased gas mileage by 1.5 MPG and gave better throttle response. Do the math, lifetime air filter(never have to pay for new air filter) + increased gas mileage = more money in your pocket. Pays for itself in 6 months. Don't buy a cheap version. K&N is the best.

K&N 57 series intake

I had read that this would change how the engine sounded on my jeep, and when I first heard it, I was really suprised. It gives it a really deep sound when pushed hard. Installation was a little more difficult than expected, only because I had to remove the innner fender cover to access the bolts holding on the stock intake on my 2003 grand cherokee. The instructions were extremely easy to follow

The Missing Piece!

I love Jeeps and Jeeps love K&N intake kits. I purchased my first K&N intake more than 9 years ago for my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee a 4.0 litre V6. With my performance exhaust I loved the added power and sound. Now I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.7 V8. I completely upgraded the exhaust from the precats back but I was lost. It still didn't have that growl that my V6 did. I installed this K&N intake and forget a growl that V8 roars. Take if from me, no matter what exhaust your Jeep has it can't roar if it can't breathe and it can't breathe if it doesn't get air. This K&N intake gave my Jeep the air it needed roar.

Great Part

This is a great piece that looks cool. It provided a small increase in torque when put in a car that had previously run a regular K&N filter in the stock housing. If you are stepping up from a paper filter, expect a noticeable increase in torque and horsepower with no real loss in fuel economy.

The air into your engine!! Great addition to the XJ. 7HP gain AND the ability to clean, re-oil and reuse the air filter is a bonus. All parts were included to bolt into jeep. Heat shield helps to reduce air intake temps for better power. Well designed and well built product.

So far, so good!

This window lift motor was an exact OEM replacement for my 1999 VW Jetta (Mark III) and had no issues. The motor lowers/lifts the window without being overworked or straining. I installed the motor today... it took about 30-45 minutes. Remove the door panel, remove the window regulator, unscrew the lift motor's mounting screws (Torx screws, two small size), replace the motor then re-install the regulator and door panel.Time will tell if this unit was a good purchase... So far, so good.
