FANTASTIC FIGURE!!!

Ever since I saw this movie as a kid, I have wanted a Taylor Astronuaut figure! Now, many years later: HERE HE IS!!! And it is even BETTER than I had hoped for! The uniform! The equipment! The face sculpt! He is PERFECT! Now, if only Sideshow would also make astronauts of Burkhe, Virdion, Dodge, and Langdon (they already made Brent, which I also have) we could have a full ANSA crew (maybe all of whom can perhaps give Dr. Zaius some well deserved payback?).The range of articulation is fantastic, he holds his poses well and the DETAIL is truly extraodinary. At less than $50.00 I feel it was a very good value/quality deal. He is definitely a figure you willwant to exhibit with pride!

though it is not really a 'toy' per se' it is an action figureine that oould be used as an expesnive and well done "toy" It is a collector's peice(meaning it stays in the box) or in my case, a display item a mantal piece, so to speak, since I can audaciously remove my rightful property from the box and arrange said equipment properly along with my OU Sooners memarabilia "action" football guys and my "looks best arranged" gear from other geners. The Taylor face/hair style(or lack of a hairline) is shockingly perfect! I'd know the Heston's version of taylor in all his "uggly handsomeness' because my brother has that same annoyingly tall spindly head and pealed back hairline.(that women like him for and hate me for my low browline bangs and sloped forenoggin). There is also a "Bret" figure but he is not true to the Fransiscous appearence but cool astronaut decontam fatigues/gear. I'd like to see the "Ship" ICaurs that could hold all this but that would be something for a customer modeler to do himself I think, in his garage. I don't know why so much of the "Go Ape" memorabilia is being redone, guess another movie is coming out(hopefully Johney Depp will be taylor(just a bit of dry chalous humor). and Hel Bon Cart will be both Nova and Zira because seeing her, a 40ish cockney commoner, naked just makes me weep(as in want to pull out my eyes and hand them to Ray Milland to ditch in the sunday school dumpster.)

Works Perfectly

Installed and selected the interface on the printer setup. Pressed the button on the card to print out the IP configuration. Dialed in with the computer and changed the communication settings to my specs and all was and continues to be perfect.

Good Home Use Saw / or light duty work saw.

I needed a saw for home use and thought that the WORX Assault was a good choice. Milwaukee, lets face it they are the best for reciprocating saws. I use a Milwaukee at work and its a great tool, it can take a beating but I wanted something for home use. I chose this saw because of the revolving handle, I also liked the LED lights, they really work great. I think they could have chose whiter LEDs but its not that important. I cannot tell just how tough the handle is, it seems solid but I wonder if the little ribs on the inside of the handle are the only thing holding it wen locked in position. Will the saw break the hanlde if dropped? I am not going to find out on purpose, but I got it for home use I am not going to be climbing between the ceiling joists and rafters with this too much. The blade release is a push in kinda wedge button along the clamp that holds the blade. It would be nice to have a flip button blade change system but its easy to change blades with the way this one is set up. Its about 1 1/2" to 2" shorter than other 15 amp reciprocating saws wich some people may like but its really a negligible issue. This Saw is 10 AMPs not 15 thats to bad, I think this saw could be a 15 AMP easy. The weight, The weight of this saw is - well - allot Its as heavey as any other 15 AMP saw (but this ones only 10? - what the hey?) I dont have a scale but I can feel the difference wen side by side to another saw. Over head work will make you tired after a while. Its just a little to heavy.Dual Work Light LEDs - Thumbs up!A Tad shorter - Good!Nice Fat full length rubber boot casing - Thumbs Up!Weight - Ugg! (less power but more weight?)Blade Change - Relatively easy!Power housing - Dual insulated! (no third prong to break off accidentally)Handle - Good! Easy to move and hase a safty cach so the tool will not start unless the handle lock is engaged.Handle Trigger, Auto run trigger catch - Thumbs up!Orbital Action quick change swich - Thumbs up! (no difficult to trun mini recessed wheel)Either decrease the weight or increase the AMPs from 10 to 15.Thats what I say.

Believe the hype...

I picked this saw up for my father for Christmas, primarily because he asked for a saw, but also with the idea that he can't use it 24/7, and that I would get to use it eventually. We both were pleased with the design-Dad has some shoulder and carpal tunnel troubles so the adjustability of the handle is nice. It's very solidly built, maybe just a wee bit heavy for things like overhead work, but things like the LED lamps and trigger speed control make up for that.Of course this is all at first inspection, but it was certainly not constructed any worse than the top name brands I looked at like DeWalt, Milwaukee and the like. Now, time may tell but from what I can see this saw was worth the money. I give it four stars so far, I'd say five but the weight will be an issue for some.

Worx works!!

I am not claiming to be an expert in reciprocating saws but I do have a background in Health and Safety and ergonomics and 10 years of construction background and I believe this is a winner from an ergo standpoint. The saw has good power and is easy to adjust but I can't say how it would hold up over the long hall if used in a commercial setting. It does seem a bit heavy for its size but has been a joy to use on different materials and projects so far. I have friends in the trades that want to use it and that is where the ergo features will really shine over time.

Stability Over Portability

Before purchasing the Stablemate PRO 1000, I headed down to a local power tool supply store. To my luck there where five different makes of miter saw stands on display. These included Bosch, Delta, Hitachi, Dewalt, and the Stablemate. I was able to put my body weight (160 lbs.) on the stands and shack them. The only stand that didn't waver under the pressure was the Stablemate. It's made of steel not aluminum. Not only does the steel make it more sturdy, it allows me to attach my magnetic-base light on it for those after hour projects. I also work with metal and this stand more than handles my metal chop saw and all the sparks it spits out. The saw clamping system is ingenious and so simple and fast to use. The extension arms easily handle the weight of 20' 2" X 2" metal stock. The entire unit folds up for easy transportation without the saw attached.Granted, the Stablemate Pro 1000 was the least portable stand out of the five. It does not include wheels or a fold up dolly system design as the others. However; for me, my 12" miter saw weighs enough. I don't need the extra weight of the stand for an all-in-one unit design that saves me one less trip back to the truck. Sure, I can wheel around the unit and save the weight of carrying everything, but I still have to lift it in and out of the truck. Also, most of the portable stands' wheels are so small that you will find yourself lifting the entire unit up and over job site obstacles anyway.I had to ask myself, "Am I going to be wheeling around my saw three or four times a day around the job site? Or am I going to want a stable working platform once I am set up? I choose stability over portability.

Good but could easily have been great

This is a very rugged and stable stand. It is however somewhat heavy to lug around; with a saw, forget it. The instructions for set-up could have been better as well. I recommend getting different nuts and screws for the saw base. I have a Makita and the bolts are too long to allow the full right hand miter. This is minor. There are many sharp edges on the steel that I had to take a file to. A small detail until you have to get stitches. Also, the roller/rests do not align properly. This is also pretty minor as they are not true rollers. The Dewalt saw base is easier to use because of its instant clamp where the Stablemate must have its two clamps hand tightened with handles. Also not too big a deal. It does cost less than lots of other brands and is very tough. Maybe they will make the improvements to make this really great as they have a great start.

Great Miter Saw Stand

I've owned the PRO1000 for a few months now. It is a well built, solid stand. I like having the dual board supports on each side, as this allows me to support stock at least 8 feet long to trim the end off as well as shorter pieces without having to constantly readjust the supports; this also helps support thinner long stock. I would suggest purchasing additional mounting clamps so that you can mount other tools (I've attached a set to a piece of wood and can attach a bench grinder, scroll saw, etc. using T-nuts). I'm not sure what the weight capacity is for this, I'm guessing at least 500 pounds based on the specs for the PLUS1000 model; I haven't noticed any movement or flexing either with 4x4 stock on fully extended arms nor by resting my weight plus miter saw on the center section.The only down sides is that this is a bit on the heavy side and does not come with wheels. You probably won't want to move this very far by yourself with a saw mounted.

This fryer is junk, to begin with it was short parts and the pans were bent because of shabby packageing and cheap box. When cooking with it you have to keep adjusting the heat as it won't hold an even tempature, one pan will get hot and the other too cold, you adjust it and it goes the other way, one reason for this is the paper thin pans that won't hold any heat. The directions for assembly are very scant. Again this fryer is junk, I will not recommend to anyone.

no quality control, assembly sucks

found one of the fryer pans dented probably due to shipping,large hole in the box. holes drilled to put upper and lower sections together were to small for bolts provided had to re-drill holes. two bolts were missing for tank guard, had to go to hardware store and purchase two new bolts and nuts. found assembly very frustrating do to lack of quality control. other than that truly like the fryer overall. a set of hooks mounted on frame for utensils would have been nice.

Good for what it is

This is a decent product for a propane driven fryer. Obviously this type of setup requires 100% supervision to control temperature and keep the oil from burning.The heat up and recovery time are good when using both sides and great when using just one. The fast recovery time makes a big difference in crispiness.The baskets are designed to be able to rest on the sides of the pans, but in practice it is too cumbersome and dangerous. The thermometers that come with it are small in length and for them to touch the oil you need to have an excessive amount and risk more splash outs. I use other long thermometers but wish I had one that was just the right size.My first unit arrived with a bad regulator that leaked and actually caught on fire. King Kooker replaced it right away, but poor quality control on a fryer is very hazardous.I like this fryer, but if you aren't a seasoned fryer and aren't able to stay with it 100% of the time, you should move on.

After 6 months this review is going be a five. It's hard for me to justify a five without a pretty long testing. One thing to remember is that you will have to put locktite on the screws or they will back out. Also, if you want to put a scope on it, make sure it's made for air rifles (they kick forward not backwards like powder guns) Also, if you want to mount a scope on this rifle you will have to use a droop compensation mount. I use the UTG DN460 and it works fine. I have also gotten my group to 1 inch at 70 yards. Practice, practice, practice. This rifle shoots better than I do, very consistent, so I think I can tighten up that group.I used Crosman domed premier pellet(14.6 g) and they work very well. That might not be the choice for your rifle but they are not expensive and worth giving a try.Still using the rifle after a year. Groups are tight at 70 yds. I am using a UTG 4-16X40 scope on the UTG DN460 mount. I wouldn't trade this rifle for any other.

I also bought a Leapers 4-16x40 and the UTG scope rail for droop and recoil, and i'm going to tell that i love this gunIt's an amazing gun, accurate, and powerful.My Diana 48 likes Crosman Premier Hollow Point and Meisterkugeln but i need to use more (JSB, H&N)Pros:-Accurate-Powerful-Nice-Good stock-Again: is an excellent rifle!Cons:-A little heavy-The rail to put scope (you need to put the UTG one)10/10 = Diana 48: an Amazing Rifle. Excellent German Engineering.

Diana 48 T06 trigger

I have been shooting and hunting with a Diana 34 in .177 caliber for over 20 years. I decided to replace it, but I wasn't quite sure of what I wanted. After speaking to literally hundreds of air gun enthusiasts and weighing their recommendations I settled on the Diana 48 T06 trigger model .22 caliber. The moment I pulled it out of the box I knew I had a top quality air rifle and made the right choice. Accuracy right out of the box and plenty of power to boot I purchased some Crosman premium hollow point pellets, I'm sure their are better ones out there but I have no complaints. After only 50 rounds my group settled in at smaller than a Eisenhower Dollar at 40 yards. Did I mention power? At 40 yards my pellets go completely though a 5 gallon paint bucket, not one or two of them, but every one of them. We all know how thick the bottom and the lid are yet the pellets penetrate them effortlessly. One other thing I found impressive about this product, The lifetime warranty. Now that along with the quality, and name brand makes owning and shooting this rifle irresistible. The T06 trigger is a nice improvement, and comes preset from the factory but you can adjust yours to suit your taste.
