5Great size for a college student
By J. Vallager
I looked through all the local electronics, computer and office supply stores before I found this case a for $65, so buying it off of Amazon was a good deal. I was looking for a case that would be big enough to carry everything I need for a day of class, my laptop, a couple of large text books and a couple of notebooks, any other random supplies, yet not a piece of carry-on luggage.Finding a case that fit this criteria was easier said in done. Most cases are either too small, too big, too expensive (over $100) or so cheap it won't last a semester. This this is perfect size. Its big but not huge and its very good quality. It vinyl, but its very heavy duty. The padding is pretty good all around the laptop, and each pocket is padded making the laptop pretty well protected. My only dislike is that the porfolio dividers are a little flimzy. If they were velcroed in and removable, like others I've seen, it would be the only thing that Wenger could improve on with this case.

5Form and function
By Will Regla
I purchased my case back in August, and it still looks great and works well. Ample room for my Dell 15" laptop, all the cords and power supply, phone chargers and mouse - and that's just in the center pocket! Still room for my clipboard, a book, my headphones, one or two binders, and more. This bag is the center of my universe when I'm traveling, which can be up to two weeks a month. Fits under the seat on all planes, but depending on the configuration, doesn't always leave a lot of legroom. It's good quality construction, and looks nice, too. I do wish the shoulder strap was removable - I don't use it - but it tucks in an outer pocket just fine.

5Fantastic Laptop Bag
By Jonathan Hwang
This is an excellent laptop bag and I am extremely pleased with it. I am a college student and use the bag to carry books as well as my laptop, power cord, pens, mouse, and a small moleskine notebook. I have a 14.1-inch widescreen Lenovo (IBM) T61 with an extended battery (12 cell) and the bag holds it nicely, even with the extra sleeve that I put in there for extra protection. The sleeve probably is not even necessary, but if you decide to include it the bag has no problems with it.The fabric is high quality and withstands light rain and impact. There has been some wear on both the corners and the strap from where they rub together, but it does not impair the functionality at all. The strap is adjustable and has not given me any problems. The only other issues that I can foresee is that if you put too much stuff in the front pockets the bag can tip in that direction. The rubberized feet on the bottom help correct it, but sometimes it tips over. Also, if you put too many books in the back gusset, it will expand outward only so far. Eventually it will start expanding into the middle gusset, which holds the laptop, and can put pressure on the laptop screen (though that is a danger with any bag that holds both books and a laptop).Overall I have been very pleased with this bag and would buy it again in a heartbeat. I always prefer to use this bag over my laptop-backpack, and bring it to class, to work, and when traveling. I feel comfortable biking with this bag when I bike to class and work. I highly recommend this bag.

2Nice but not worth twice the price of the SB1s
By EmbeddedFlyer
The Absolute Zero replaces the NHT SB1 but the street price has roughly doubled. I have a pair of the original Super Zeros, a pair of SB1s, and now a pair of Absolute Zeros. I've compared all 3 to each other in a carefully set up environment listening to a variety of material from high quality sources.Unlike older NHT products, the Absolute Zeros are made in China which makes the new higher price even harder to swallow. I'm betting NHT's costs have actually gone down over the USA made SB1s. So it's kind of sad they saw fit to raise the price so high? This is even more true because, as I'm about to explain, one can argue the much cheaper SB1 sounds better! Before I get to the sound, the Absolute Zero looks nicer, less obtrusive, and a bit more expensive than the previous SB1. The curved cabinet makes them look more sleek although the plastic grill frames don't fit all that well and have two cheesy visible strips of foam rubber that's tacked on flanking the tweeter. I presume the strips are there to control high frequency diffraction effects improving the sound but it's ugly if you look at the speakers from the side with the grills on.Sound wise, the Absolute Zero is the brightest of the three speakers. Some have said it's more detailed as well, but that's very subjective. Most people consider a brighter speaker to be more detailed, but that's not always true. More high frequency distortion, for example, can make a speaker sound brighter while revealing LESS detail. I'd say the new Absolute Zero reveals about the same musical detail as its predecessors and many other good speakers in its price range. The deeper bass performance is very similar to the SB1 which means there's honest bass down to 90hz or so. Below that, the bass rolls off more gently than in most similar sized speakers which are typically ported these days. The sealed NHT designs are also better for putting up against a wall, in a cubby hole, cabinet, etc. as there's no port to worry about. The new Zero has much more satisfying bass than the much smaller original Super Zero but most will still want a subwoofer if you like real bass. The new Zero allows a subwoofer to be crossed over around 100hz with no big "hole" in the bass like you get with most small satellite speakers. Most satellites with 4.5 inch or smaller woofers have trouble honestly making it down to even 150hz despite their optimistic specifications. Not so the Absolute Zero or SB1.In terms of soundstage (imaging), all 3 speakers are about the same with perhaps the SB1 being slightly weaker. NHT speakers have always done a good job of "disappearing" and the Absolute Zero is no exception. My biggest complaint with the Absolute Zero is a somewhat nasal character in the lower midrange that's missing in the SB1 and Super Zero. It's especially obvious on certain vocals and it's the same sort of sound, just less obvious, that you often hear from those cheap plastic enclosure surround sound satellites that are so common these days. Perhaps NHT is making their drivers at a different factory in China and they're not as accurate as they used to be? Whatever the reason, it's a step backwards. The brighter high-end can also be a mixed blessing. The old SB1 is more forgiving of MP3 material with encoding artifacts, poorly recorded/mixed content, etc. The Absolute Zero can make less than pristine recordings sound more harsh--especially at louder volumes. The tweeter looks very similar to the SB1 tweeter, but it's clearly not identical and there may be crossover changes as well. Again, it's possible the new tweeter is made by a different manufacture in China. In terms of efficiency, NHT has been steadily increasing it. The SB1 is slightly more efficient than the old Super Zero, and the Absolute Zero is very slightly more efficient still. It will play about equally as loud as the SB1 before it starts to sound obviously strained. But again, the brighter high end makes it sound more harsh when pushed hard. I was driving them with a high-end power amp with 200 watts per channel and clipping indicators, so I'm quite certain it wasn't my amp that was straining. Most people will think either the SB1 or Absolute Zero sound significantly better than the original Super Zero--at least unless you're using a properly set up subwoofer. The SB1, in particular, sounds notably warmer and more full than the thin sounding Super Zero. The Absolute Zero initially sounds a bit louder (which it is) and brighter (which it also is) than the SB1 perhaps giving it an edge in a quick A/B comparison. But if you spend some time listening to a variety of material on both the SB1 and Absolute Zero, as I have done, I think most would agree NHT has taken a small step backwards even if the Absolute Zero were the same price. At roughly double the price, I think they've taken a BIG step backwards and there are better options in the Absolute Zero's now lofty price range.Overall, I wish NHT still made the SB1 as I prefer the sound and they were half the street price. Still, if you require a non-ported small speaker under 10 inches high that can reach down below 100hz, there are not that many good choices. So for these rare applications, the Absolute Zero might still be worth considering. Or, if the street price ever drops back to where it should be, the Absolute Zero would again be competitive.

5Accurate and smooth.
By J. Fera
I am more into music than movies, and while these do a great job with DVDs and HiDef TV, they really make CDs sound awesome. I listen to music in 2.1 using an NHT Classic Twelve subwoofer, and it's the best my music has ever sounded. The Zeroes by themselves leave a little to be desired in the low end, but I totally expected that from seeing the specs (71 Hz. low end rolloff). So I crossover at 80 Hz. with my Onkyo receiver and voila - great sound. I've got other speakers that can go lower, but the mids and highs from the Zeroes is SO much smoother. If you want to listen in 2.0, I'd bet the Classic Threes would do a great job on their own. You'd probably still want a sub for movies, though.

5Perfect small room use
By T. Wilson
These mini speakers have excellent tonality - but take note that their small size prohibits them from reproducing lots of bass. I use them for my PC speakers - because every pair of normal PC speakers I've ever purchased were junk. The grills come off and the finish is polished piano black EVEN on the back which looks cool when approaching my desk. Just remember that much below 120Hz and these speakers struggle (Can't defy the laws of Physics). Midrange and Treble are open and airy. No strain at loud volumes either - although they want to hop a little. I listen to mix of Rock/Rap/Country/Death Metal/Irish Pub songs and Frank Sinatra/Johnny Cash/Karen Carpenter for vocals. I recommend them to everyone. NHT makes a very versatile speaker that is shockingly good.

5SLVR L6 is as advertised
By ne0n0rie
This phone is exactly what I was looking for. It's small, functional, and is well built. I was tired of phones that were loaded with bells and whistles, but wouldn't make a decent phone call. This one delivers. The only knock I'd give it is that when the ringer is set to vibrate, the phone is so light, its a little hard to notice unless it is on pulse. I'd rather have it light though. Overall, favorite phone i have had.

5Exactly what it says on the tin...
By Jennifer Marsden
As the Brits say, it does what it says on the tin - the switches are nice and a cool blue LED is included for nights in the forward berth of our boat. The solar panel worked flawlessly and installation on our boat was simple. I dont have any way of knowing how many CFM of air this thing actually moves, but you can at least feel air movement when you have it on "blow in" mode. Recommended for an inexpensive ventilation device, if you have sun available.

5Works just like it should!
By kathleen czech
I thought it was a bit pricy but the thing does work. The light works as well. This is not a tornado fan but is a small solar fan which we will use to move air through our cargo trailer.

4Cheap, very low CPM fan best in its price range
By Matthew R. Abts
I have this Sunforce as well as a Nicro Day/Night fan. The Nicro is out of commission -- these vents are installed on the top of my camper van and the Nicro motor couldn't keep up with light offroading in the National Forests. The Sunforce has independent controls for the light (which you can turn on/off), battery, and fan. The Nicro runs the solar panel through the battery so the vent won't work it something is wrong with the battery (e.g. needs replacement). In general, I find the Sunforce to be the tougher product with better controls. The two products both move about the same CPM. These vents will help keep temperature equalized or mold out of a very small area. 2 of them are about right for the back of an E150 with the windows cracked -- just to give you an idea of how many you'll need.Pleased for the price, but know that what you're getting: All of these products have relatively weak fans. You could build your own for cheaper, or buy the cheapest one, gut its case, and install your own better fan, motor and solar panel -- this is now my plan for the defunct Nicro. You'll use a 4.5" hole saw to install the Sunforce, costs around $35, plus another $10 for an "arbor" to stick in your drill (it's basically like a big drill bit with a connection on the end for the hole saw). If you're cutting through sheet metal, better plan on an 18 volt drill. If you've got a 12, go borrow a friend's 18!

ISP Decimator Noise Reduction Pedal Product Description:

  • The Decimator Pedal is extremely easy to use; simply inset the Decimator at the end of your chain of existing pedals
  • Audition the Decimator today and experience the highest level of performance available in a noise reduction system.
  • Decimator Pedal in the effects loop of your amplifier to clean up the noise present at the amplifier input

Product Description

ISP Technologies presents the latest generation in Noise Reduction technology, the DECIMATORTM NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEM. From the original inventors of HUSHTM noise reduction comes the latest, most advanced, patent pending, state of the art technology in real time noise reduction. The Decimator offers a revolutionary breakthrough in Noise Reduction processing with an unparalleled level of performance. The HUSH system, as well as all other noise reduction systems suffers from one major problem inherent in their design: The system cannot be immediately responsive to very short-term staccato notes. The typical downward expander noise reduction system suffers from a dead zone in the release response characteristic which causes a compromise in tracking both fast decaying notes and long sustained notes. The Decimator design offers a novel approach to tracking the envelope of the input signal called Time Vector Processing. Due to this novel approach in controlling the expander, the Decimator system will instantly respond to short staccato notes and, at the same time, will provide a very slow ripple free control of long sustained notes. This means that the Decimator noise reduction system is the most transparent and highest performance noise reduction system available.

5No More 60 Cycle Hum, No More Line Noise: Five Stars!
By Georges Vauzanges
If you want to eliminate 60 cycle hum (only) put the DNRP right after your instrument. If you want to eliminate high gain amplification and/or line noise put the DNRP at the end of your pedal chain, or in your amplifier's effects loop. Starting from 7 o'clock turn the DNRP knob clockwise until it's quiet.Slightly compresses and compacts your notes. Does not cut their ends off. Probably not true bypass. Can be used with 9 volt battery and/or 9V DC adapter center tip negative. A relatively inexpensive alternative to noiseless pickups.

5It just works!
By S. Anderson
I had a little hum coming from one of my favorite pedals. I tried several gated noise reduction pedals but they either sucked the tone right out of my rig or would cut off controlled feedback. I heard so much about the Decimator I tried it and it hasn't left my pedal board since.

5Very fun plane
By Eduardo A. Rodriguez
I bought this plane to give a try since I like better glow planes, however it was really easy to assembly, took me around 2 hours to have it ready to fly. It took up very fast so you will not need long track to fly. Tail hook is weak and broke off on first landing, but could easily glue it back. Looks like good improvement could be a tail wheel, if hook fall again will do it.On the air it flies really nice, do rolls very fast and seems to be very aerobatic.Only thing with the servos I installed could not have the aileron movement recommended, but still flying well. came up very well trimmed so only a few clips made it fly nice. Not really good for beginners but really good as a second plane.

2Flimsy, ureliable.
By Dmitri
Parts start falling off this plane right out of the box. Tail skid broke off instantly. Landing gear only took 4 landings, then separated completely. It's a fun airplane to fly, if it stays together. I don't like it because it's extremely unreliable. Instead of flying it, you will spend the entire time fixing it. (Flown RC for over 10 years)

5great little plane
By Stephen Lee Hays
only reason it got knocked down a start on quality is during high speed tax test one of the weeks cought on edge of road way and ripped the gear block out of fuse. it was repairable but still frustrating. if you are going to land on rough ground often might want to swap out the 4-40 bolts that hold on the landing gear for nylon ones. they should give before the block breaks.

5NHT Classic 2 FTW
By Benjamin
I bought these years ago for my studio. I had researched every reference bookshelf, powered monitor, computer speaker setup that was for sale for the most natural neutral detailed sounding reference quality speaker. Couldn't find anything worth buying. I remembered way back about a review I had read years earlier about the NHT being the best bookshelf speaker under $1K. Re-read the current reviews in all the internet. So I saved up and took the plunge. Never regretted it to this day. I need a speaker that sounds very neutral for studio mixing, and these are the most neutral and natural sounding bookshelf/satellites speakers out there. No coloration, no bias or boost in any frequency with nano detail and precision and depth. Huge soundstage is almost holographic- as I could hear things behind me with only two of these...I recently bought a reference stereo receiver Harmon Kardon 3490 from Amazon, (never liked HK products before) and when I hooked these Classic Two's up to it, I started hearing things in my music I had never heard there before. I was looking behind me because the soundstage and imaging was so good I actually thought something was behind me enough to look. These Classic Two pair of bookshelf speakers have a "surround sound" effect of wide soundstage and detail and clarity you can't get with any other bookshelf speaker I have heard on the planet. My professional career has went from designing and installing custom studios to installing custom home theaters upwards of $200,000.00 and have not experienced this level of neutral natural definition and detail before! I have heard just about everything on the market, being in the industry; the PSB, Martin Logan, Legacy, Genesis, Jamo, Meridian, Mirage, KEF, B&W, Paradigm, Klipch, Bose, Polk, Krell, Sony, Tannoy, Sunfire, Bang & Olusfen, Definitive Technology, and more than I can remember. These are the most natural, clean, detailed, bookshelf/satellite's in the world next to the Classic Three. I also have NEVER been a fan of Harmon Kardon products, but this receiver has made a believer out of me, that is saying something if you knew me. I would highly recommend this receiver with these speakers for any audiophile out there. Make sure you have good cables- GLS Audio 12 AWG speaker wire and monster optical toslink connections make a big difference. I had a Pioneer Elite 660w 6.1 THX receiver with the Classic Two's and they sounded boring. I can't believe how much more vibrant, detailed, defined and alive the HK sounded over the more expensive Pioneer. Go read my review of it.With a great subwoofer like Velodyne or the third gen Sunfire products, this setup would be magical. Oh, side note, these need a good 300hr break in as well as the receiver to sound like they are going to.

5Simply Oustanding
By K. Rands
Incredible speakers. Period. And I am more picky than anyone I know. If you get them, download the song "I Remember" by Kaskade. Make sure you have a decent powered subwoofer, and take a listen to that song. Ear candy. They come with a white screen that snaps into place over the black speakers. So they are "all white". I live in one of those ultra whitewashed modern condos in Miami however, with pure ultra white floors, walls, ceilings, and it should be noted that the speaker case itself is not pure white. Its very slight cream color. However from some angles it reflects pure white so this shouldn't dissuade you. The screen that goes on the front is a pure white, which helps even more. Very high quality, sturdy, and comes with two rubber/metal pieces that fit on the base to support the slightly curved base. Very modern. Very sexy. Very well made. The white screen has a stylish metallic "NHT" badge at the base which also looks very classy.Sound is just outstanding with a powered subwoofer. Even played loud, music sounds crisp and full. This vendor shipped one of the speakers without the necessary screws to put the base pieces on. I have contacted them and Im sure they'll send.Highly recommend these speakers.
