Classic and Classy!

I knew a man who once wore this classic cologne, and always smelled so good. I bought it for my hubby this Christmas and instantly remembered why I loved that smell so much. It is a classic frangrance, not stinky or overpowering - but fresh. There are other Vetiver cologne's out there, but they smell NOTHING like the Guerlain from France. It's a gorgeous smell, and I guarantee you would love it if you are looking to smell great without it being overpowering. It's smooth and mellow, fresh.

A Lifelong Favorite

I first started wearing Vetiver by Guerlain about 20 years ago when a girlfriend gave me a bottle for my birthday. I love it's subtle blend of grassy and citrus fragrances. As it turns out, even though it is a mens fragrance, she liked to wear it as well. And it smelled great on her, too. I guess it smelled differently on her due to our different body chemistry. We broke up amicably years ago, but whenever I smell Vetiver, I am reminded of her.A buddy of mine also liked it and now he wears it. My brother returned from Europe and he borrowed a little. He has worn nothing else ever since. That makes it easy to buy birthday gifts for him.I have tried other Vetiver brands, but Guerlain's is by far the best. They changed the bottle a few years back and it was rumored that they had changed the formula, but no matter... it still smells great. It is my lifelong favorite. Try it, you won't be sorry...

Vetiver Guerlain is by no means the oldest fragrance made by Guerlain but it is one of the most popular. It is a complex yet clean and balanced blend of citrus, grassy, and peppery notes with just a touch of tobacco. It is not in the least bit musky. As with all scents, it is not right for everyone, but more men will like this than not and women find it very appealing.In fact, many women wear Vetiver Guerlain as well, despite it being a men's fragrance. I began wearing it after "borrowing" some from a boyfriend. No, it wouldn't be the best choice for an evening at the opera but it's a nice all-around scent that makes me think of a picnic on a lawn.If you are a woman, and like this scent, but think it is too masculine, try it with just a bit of lavender scent to add a complementary floral tone.

I've used Guerlain for over twenty years. So I must really like it. Difficult to expand on this length of use, except I have not been able to find a fragrance I like as well. A scent for all day

That's what I like the most about this one, you spray it at 8:00am... go to work... you get off of work, meet your friends at 5:00pm, and you still smell just as good, you even have to go easy on this eau de toilette, a little strong, but just go easy, and it'll be great ALL DAY. (When I spray it over my shirt, the shirt will still smell good next day, it's just amazing). WARNING: No one likes ambulatory frebreeze either, be discret in the use of this one, if don't want your friends to ask you to step away because you'get them dizzy.

awesome cologne i am not a person who likes men's cologne in general but make an exception for this - smells very woodsy maybe like a campfire it has that smokey, sandlewood, bergamot smell i love it a lot! i had it for a while just to spray on my bed but then my bf stole it :).great shipping too, fast and just as advertised.
