99 GMC Jimmy AC Climate Control Unit

To whom it may concern, I checked the local GM Dealer for this unit. Special Order, Special Price (Way high - over $500.00) When I first encountered the problem with my Jimmy, I had no heat - South Dakota Winters make this an uncomfortable condition. - I took it to one of the repair shops I trust, and it was working when they got it into the shop. I asked about the cost to replace it any how, and was quoted the cost of the unit and labor to install it would be near the $1000.00 mark. Decided to leave it alone, since it was working. The next occourance was in the spring, wanted the AC to work and heat in the mornings. That's when I checked with the GM dealership for a price. I removed the controller from the dash panel, not a hard job, just a bit time consuming. I got a GM part number and did an internet search, and most of the common sources didn't carry the controller. I was surprised that Amazon had such an item, part numbers, description and the pictures matched, so I ordered it. Delivery was quick, ahead of schedule, 3 days from order to being at my door. Good Job, AMAZON.COM!! Easy installation. After installation, the AC works, the heater works, the defroster works, the Auto Temp Set point works and the Recirculation works. IT SURE IS NICE TO SET THE TEMPERATURE IN MY JIMMY AND ENJOY THE COOL VAPOR FREE AIR, AND FOR LESS THAN $300.00. I would recommend this item to any one with no AC, heat, or defrost. Fun times ahead!

After playing with a friend's double 15 domino set, I knew I had to have some for myself. In my search for a set, I came across these number dominoes. The numbers make it so much easier... with a set up to 15, it can take a while to count up dots to keep score. With the numbered dominoes it is straight addition which is great for my daughter to keep her addition skills up to date. My only complaint (which I forwarded to the domino company directly) is that the nine and six are nearly the same color so it sometimes takes a second glance to figure out if it's a six or nine. I wrote "six" on my six dominoes but the sharpie is starting to smear. The makers of these dominoes should have chosen one of the other more contrasting colors to differentiate between six and nine.

Numbers are Great

I originally ordered a "Double 15" Numbered Dominoes set, but got a "Double 12 Mexican Train" set. I chose to keep the set I received because the children in my household liked it so much. If I do need a larger set in the future, I will order one. The pieces have large, brightly colored numbers which can easily read from across our 52" round table. The centerpiece if fully functional, keeping the playing pieces stationary (no pun intended). The numbers on each dominoe are of great help to the younger children as well as my elderly in-laws, and makes the game flow smoother and quicker. I strongly recommend this set for the above mentioned reasons, unless you are just a die-hard traditionalist and prefer "counting the pips" instead of using the numbers. G.J. Martin

Lots of Dominoes

This is a good set. The only suggestion I have is that the manufacturer should play a few games & then analyze the colors. Sixes and nines are too close in color, and several others should be of greater contrast. Aside from that, we like the numbers instead of dots & it helps speed the game up by adding numbers instead of counting dots.

If your looking for a table top easel, this is the one .

I purchased this easel a few months back and I have to say I'm happy with the purchase.The easel is nice and sturdy and my son enjoys it. The wood is smooth no worry about splinters,nice quality item all around.The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is it doesn't fold.You have to screw the legs to the bottom stablizing piece every time that you use it,or leave it set up permanently.Also and this would be with any table top easel.Easel paper is too long for it, you have to trim off the the bottom of the paper for it to fit.But over all if you don't have the room for a regular stand up easel and are looking to purchase a table top easel.I would definitely recommend this one.

Sliding Power Door fixed

Replacing this connector and plate mechanism fixed the operation of the door!We have a 2004 Chevy Venture with two power sliding doors. For a year now the one door would close automatically but not open: You could hear the door motor click but not operate to open the door. While running the diagnostic check, everything was checking out fine except for Mode 3. Here is a brief description:In Diagnostic Mode 3 (Diagnostic Modes 1 and 2 check out fine) the following occurs only the FIRST time I press then release either PSD open/close switch (the overhead console or the right B-pillar):* Energizes the power sliding door unlatch actuator.* Briefly sounds the rear sliding door alarm.* Unlatches the sliding door past the door ajar positionWhen I cycle (pressing and releasing) either the power sliding door open/close switch (the overhead console or the right B-pillar) again, only the rear sliding door alarm sounds briefly. The PSD unlatch actuator DOES NOT energize nor does the PSD unlatch past the door ajar position. NOTE: This problem is only occuring on the driver side PSD - the passenger PSD does repeat the procedure as many times as I cycle the PSD open/close switch.After replacing the connector and plate the door works every time!Pricing:Chevy Dealer - $145Amazon - $60!

Dead simple to use

This meter is dead easy to use, largely because it is not cluttered with features most of us don't need often if ever. This meter is one you put at the subject location or hold in the sun to obtain a single reading. If you want to read various locations in a scene and have your meter provide an "average" reading, this meter is not for you -- you'll have to figure the average in your head.It has the advantage of using easily obtained and relatively cheap batteries, which in a pinch can be pirated from other devices most of us have around the place, such as small flashlights and TV remote controls.

Samll accurate lightmeter you can take everywhere

When I started to look for a new lightmeter, I want something small, reliable, accurate, and can do ambient and flash. This little meter is not the most feature rich, but definitely one of the smaller more compact ones. And there is nothing that will break, unlike some of the units with swivel head. I have used Gossen LunaPro SBC, which is excellent for extreme low light, but a bit bulkier and lack flash capability. I have also used Minolta Flashmeter III and Sekonic L-328. There are definitely other meters out there that can do more tricks, but the small size and low cost of this meter enable me to carry it everywhere. After all, a meter used in the field is better than a meter left in storage.

Nice- but not for portraiture

This is really nice as an inexpensive light meter. But it only works with setting the shutter. You can't set in the aperture and get a shutter speed. Since aperture is so important for portraiture, I've had to return this and get a model that lets me set aperture and get shutter.

Walker Air/Fuel Ratio Oxygen sensors are designed to determine the oxygen content of exhaust gas. took awhile to figure out which sensor to order for my 2002 cvt insight. finally found good info on an insight blog! amazon had the best price of course. the sensor fit, plugged in correctly and solved the check engine lite problem.

Great Wireless Mouse

I'm an IT director at a high school and we have tested over a dozen wireless mice from cheap IR mice to expensive RF mice. This mouse is by far the best at the under $100 price and works fine for all of our applications. Some things we like: 1) It doesn't require any drivers in Windows! Some other mice worked well but the drivers required were awful. 2) It is very nicely designed with the transmitter fitting nicely into the mouse and shutting the mouse off. 3) Great battery life on a single 2025 silver oxide--the fact that the transmitter placed in the unit shuts it off probably helps a lot. 4) Nice button layout with left, right on top, left button on bottom, and right button on top. 5) Has a decent laser pointer. The only negative is that the circular button used to move the mouse is a bit sluggish, but I found this was true with EVERY wireless mouse, even the most expensive.

Works great and it does have the throw of 50 plus feet that I needed. Does the job very well. Very easy to use remote; buttons, etc. Nice!
