Why discontinued!?

Why would a manufacturer discontinue a "winner" such as this. All reviews indicate it was a delightful fragrance that many desire. Now the price is too freakin high to consider it a reasonable purchase for the average shopper. Too bad!

Love this perfume

I just love this perfume, but cannot find it in any stores. So happy to find it on the internet. Everytime I wear Jessica McClintock #3, everyone comments on how nice it smells. I always get comliments on it. Just wish it didn't cost so much.

The Best Scent For Summer"..............

I having been using Jessica MC Clintock # 3 all my life until they discontinued it, along with my other favorite Jess, by her....Looked high and low..Search all her wedding gown stores, but finally found it on this site....I was so happy....When it arrived, I sprayed some on, as soon as I walk into the room my husband recognized it already and asked me where I found it...This was my summer flowery, scent I had used for years...Not overpowering at all and I get stopped everywhere I go with people asking me what perfume I am wearing.....I want to highly recommend this perfume, but then there will be none left for me girls ;)

A CLASSIC FRAGRANCE

Designer Jessica McClintock is well known for her classic gowns whether the occasion is a cotillion, debutante ball, quinceanera, or a wedding. If a wedding is planned she offers gowns for everyone from the bride to the smallest flower girl.

In addition, she presents hand bags, shoes, veils, headpieces, all perfect accompaniments to the chosen gown. Her hallmark is a very contemporary look with old world touches, such as brocades, laces and silk.

As noted many of the occasions for which she designs are romantic ones, and the same word, romance, might also be used to describe her fragrance. With notes of white rose, white jasmine and lemon it reminds one of the refreshing, lovely scent of a bridal bouquet. It is light yet lasting.

Simply the Best

This is my all-time favorite perfume. I don't like heavy perfumes that make people gag. I prefer the, "Just stepped out of the shower" fresh smell, with a little kick to it, and this is it. It is probably the first perfume I have ever worn in my almost 60 years, that people constantly comment on......"May I ask what perfume you are wearing?," "You smell wonderful!," "What a lovely scent, what is it?" Hardly a week goes by that I don't receive a compliment about it. I have been wearing it exclusively for about nine years now, so I guess you could say I'm hooked. If you like a light, aquatic fragrance, I highly recommend it.

Most compliments for any fragrance I wear

I did not purchase this product from the seller, but I have been wearing Issey Miyake for almost 7 years now and every time I wear it someone ends up asking me what I am wearing. I have had to write the fragrance name down for a man who wanted to buy it for his wife.It's a gorgeous perfume - light enough for every day, but easily transitions into a flirty night fragrance. I haven't had a problem with staying power. I'll put it on in the morning and it lasts at least 10 hours (I only apply to my wrists and behind my ears - I know some people do a spritz and walk through the mist, but that doesn't allow the perfume to soak into your skin at the warmest points. Also, when you apply the perfume to your wrists, don't rub it in - it damages the scent. Just shake your hands around if you need it to dry quickly)It is somewhat pricey compared to many other department store fragrances, but not terrible. I have to warn you, it is a "gateway" perfume. Once you wear it, you won't be able to go back to cheaper perfumes. :)

I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT...

...and so do all the people who follow me around asking, "what is that wonderful fragrance you have on?" I have a skin that doesn't get along with most fragrances, something just seems to turn them into something they are not, but not this fragrance. I can't recommend it more highly, particularly if you like a lighter, airy fragrance. Without hesitation, I would give this fragrance 6 stars, if it were possible!

Eau Du Soir BY Sisley For Women - 3.4 oz EDP SprayI am very concerned that the product I purchased is a fake! I smell too much alcohol in the product and it gives me a headache. The product was wrapped in bubble wrap and did not come in a box as I thought it should. I will not know for sure until I can get to a store that I know carries Eau du Soir and do a comparison. I wanted to wait until I compared my product to one at a department store that carries it but I do not know how soon I can get to the mall so I am submitting my review.If indeed when I sample the product at a retail store and still believe it is not a legitimate product, I will report it.

Unexpected discovery

Warning, you might not like this product if your regular perfume is sweet and light. I did not like it at all when my wife first used it. Yes, I did tell her I hate it. It has a very strong and dominant moss-like smell on your nostrils initially and can last for awhile. However, the unexpected discovery was that after two days, I am now in love with the scent on her, around her, and around the house. The perfume turned into a fresh, light mixed of the country air with a touch of cinnamon and rose. The scent lasted all day long and lingered into the night. And yes the rose is there, expecially when the body heat up if you know what I mean (wink). Now when I came home from a long day at work, catching the scent of this lightly lingered perfume around the house, what can I say, the nerves all calmed down.It is a bit pricey for an online perfume purchase, but after my discovery, the price is worth it though. It took me this long to find a replacement for my wife perfume after Victoria Secret cancelled their blue perfume bottle. So be warned, you might not like this at first, but if you gave it an honest try, you might wonder why it took you this long to discover it.

Beautiful & Sweet but Discontinued

Herve Leger is classy, modern, light, and season-less. I could wear Herve Leger anywhere; It won't wear me. In fact, HL is very close to being a second skin for my chemistry. Very good lasting power, wears close to the skin.Herve Leger opens a tad spicy & it has some unlisted jasmine, I am most certain. And the base, oh my - an amber & vanilla wonderfulness that remains fairly consistent throughout. For the most part, Herve Leger wears like a light woody on me, not an oriental (except at top). I think part of that comes from the green apple, which is clean & clear, not foodie or delicious-like. There's also the woodiness from the sandalwood. It's gorgeous.Herve Leger was a blind buy based the notes and the nose. I was on the fence for a long time about this one and missed buying a tester at an excellent price. My only regret is that I didn't buy it earlier and buy a bigger bottle!If you like Bvlgari Omnia, Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline, Paul Smith London and Burberry Brit, I think you could blind buy Herve Leger without any regrets. To me what each of these fumes share is an in-your-own-skin quality that makes them easy-going & easy-wearing, yet modern & classy.Great quality for the price, imo. Unfortunately, it's discontinued and prices have increased recently. :(

Great cologne for men or women

I have been using Hermes cologne since getting some as a gift nearly 30 years ago. The marketing and packaging have changed but the product itself has stayed the same; fresh, crisp, not heavy or overwhelming. The citrus notes are subtle.Originally sold exclusively as men's cologne, Hermes discovered that women enjoyed it too, and has in recent years marketed it as a crossover product. Whatever. I have been using it for years and really like it. The last few times I have purchased via Amazon because the price is significantly better than the Hermes store and it's not often available in duty free. In both cases the orders were filled and shipped promptly.

Eau d'Orange, Florida's natural.

Very, very citrusy. This bears repeating. Cologne is subjective, so I won't judge for this quality, just be aware. If you like it, you will like it. If not, it may smell rather offensive to you. I had comments ranging from "sweet and juicy" smelling to "alcoholic and strong". I would advice checking this one out in a department store before purchasing.
