Product Description
The kit replaces your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. K&N intake systems are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your vehicle's engine to inhale a larger volume of air than the OEM air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The filters on these kits are washable, reusable and easy to install with tools commonly available.

2003 S10 Xtreme 4.3L V6
By Andrew Barry
2003 Chevy S10 Xtreme 4.3L V6 ~~ Instructions are very well written and easy to follow, Hardware is high quality! Im not sure if I got any extra HP, but I do get about 1 MPG better than before. BUT WOW, it sure does sound better when accelerating(over 2.5 RPM). I highly recommend this as a cheap and easy bolt on item for your truck or SUV!

works great

I put this on my s-10 and could not believe the difference.Besides the throaty sound that it gave,it also gave a major "seat of the pants"improvement but I also get better gas mileage too.Would buy again for any car.

Easy to install, not sure how effective it is, though
By B. S. Gregory
Typical of K&N, this item was a breeze to install. I'm just not sure if the FIPK actually has increased horsepower by as much as K&N claims. The only thing I've really noticed is the nice "rumble-like" sound when I'm hard on the accelerator.
