I have a 1988 Suburban 350 that I put this item on. I have gained about 1.5-2 miles per gallon when towing. I went from 8mpg to 9.5 or 10mpg. It does dog the engine when going up very steep grades for a long time. I think this is because it is not a cool intake system. It sucks the hot air in from the engine compartment. It is still questionable whether I gained any mileage in town without my 28' trailer. But I think I may have gained 10%. Would I buy it again? YES. Although I have lost power towing in the mountains, it is worth the extra mileage gained.

Product worked great sounds pretty cool and noticed a little midrange power as well as throttle response. The biggest perk was how it looks because it is alot better looking than the stock air cleaner.

I own a 91 GMC K2500 with a 454 cu engine. I tow a 28.5 8000lb 5th wheel. before I installed the air cleaner ( which took 10 minutes and the only tool a pliers), while towing got a whopping 6 mpg. After installation I have jumped up to 7.5 mpg that is a 25% increase in gas mileage. I am installing K&N filters on all my cars.
