it does not say it here but on the royal purple website is says o-ring chain safe. anyway i have used this stuff twice now on my atv and the chain seems real happy so far, no more squeaks or noise at all from the chain and i run a silencer pipe so any sqeaks anywhere on the quad are annoying to me and my prey. in closing i have to say you generally get what you pay for and the thrifty demon inside had me looking at this $3 can of chain lube for a few minutes until i realized my toys mean more to me than $3 so here we are. so anyway this stuff works great and i will never use anything else.

It does what its suppose to do but the can is real small and I dont think its worth the money and that goes for all RP products. Sorry RP just having diff cool color dont cut it with me

From what I've seen so far, this is a great product. As advertised, it goes on non-tacky, so it won't pick up dust (a big concern in my application). Since it's not oily or greasy, it's actually hard to tell that it's on there.The only complaint I have is the size of the can. I'm using it on a John Deere Gator, which has dual chain drives. After my first application, I have less than half a can left.It comes in a 4oz aerosol can (which is small physically compared to a standard size aerosol can). If it came in an 8 oz can it would be more effective for me, AND presumably cheaper as well.If they put it in a bigger can, I'd give it 5 stars.Again: I like the product, just package it more efficiently.
