5Great OEM replacements!
By A. Alcid
I just replaced all 4 of my originals with these in my 02 Corolla S after 160k miles. What a difference! Car performs just like new; it is more level during braking, acceleration, shifting, etc. The ride is very firm, and yet very comfortable - a perfect balance. Also, takes the bumpy roads well too (won't bounce out of control). Highly recommended!Notes:The GR-2 is made in Japan, and KYB claims 15% stiffer than OEMSince there are no references on amazon of this part number group in relation to placement on vehicle, they are as follows:#234057 - Front passenger#234058 - Front driver#234059 - Rear passenger#234060 - Rear driverFits:1998-2002 Chevrolet Prizm1998-2002 Toyota CorollaCheck with KYB - Some of these part #'s may not fit earlier corollas and prizms.Hope this helps

4Beware 7th gen Corolla owners!! ('93-'97)

Note : This review applies to all four silver KYB GR-2 struts, not just this front (passenger side?) one.I've had these installed on a 1993 Toyota Corolla for two+ years, since spring 2009, maybe 30K miles. KYB was the OEM of my Toyota's struts. Be warned -- THESE ARE NOT A GOOD MATCH FOR THE STOCK SPRINGS. Oh, they fit just fine, but the ride they deliver can only be described as "punishing." If you love road feel and limited body roll, pair these with your stock Toyota springs and you'll get all the road feel you can stomach. If you want a more comfortable ride with nicely damped bumps, stick with the stock struts. These silver GR-2s are better paired with Eibach aftermarket springs, or so I hear.Personally I rue the day I installed these. I'm docking them one star to reflect my displeasure.Special Packaging Notice: KYB is changing the name of GR-2 shocks and struts to Excel-G. Their part numbers and performance remain the same--only the name is changing.

I got these for my 1994 Geo Prizm back in 2009 and so far I am satisfied with them. They were made in Japan then, not sure where they are made in now.So these will fit 1993-1997 Geo Prizm and Toyota Corolla also.
