Damping is very tight and controled. However, may appear harsh to those looking for a more floating comfortable ride. If that is what you want, go with a cheaper Monroe or Gabriel part.

I had some really bad struts, probably originals on my 1992 Subaru Legacy. I put these shocks/struts on the front and back, and have been extremely happy with them. I have almost zero rebound now when i jump on one of the corners, and the road manners are noticably better then before. easy install, and good fit, not problems with installing them. great price also.
