I installed this item in my 2002 Ford ZX2 with 90,000 miles on it. Instructions were hard to see but K&N website has them in color so easier to follow on there. Took a few hours to install. I intalled the air system and switched to a full synethic oil at the same time and saw around a 5-6 MPG increase. Not sure which helped more. It sounds really cool and seems to give it a little more power.
