NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT. DON'T TRUST THEIR WARRANTY.I bought Monster Power Center (HTS 5100 MKII) two tears ago. I June 2012 it blew up everything connected to it (HD TV, Denon receiver, Sony BluRay Player and Verizon Fios Box) and the the power center also died. In my house everything connected to the wall power outlets was safe. So it was not a power surge in the main line. But the malfunction of the faulty surge protector damaged all equipments connected to it. As Monster requested, I got all damaged equipments checked by certified technicians and submitted the reports with the claim forms. All reports indicated that the damage was due to a power surge. Monster denied my claim without giving any proper reason. The reason they gave me was "As the connected equipment warranty is conditioned on the PowerCenter failing from 'a Product Defect that causes Connected Equipment Damage despite Adequate Use', we have determined that this claim is not valid."The reason they gave was completely incorrect. The total damage is almost worth $5200. I paid close to $400 for testing and reports from technicians and shipping the equipments to them. Only the surge protector and the equipments connected to it were damaged in the whole house. Which proved that the reason they gave is a complete lie. Now I am exploring legel options against them. It will cost me more. But I don't want to give up.NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT. DON'T TRUST THEIR WARRANTY.

The powercenter does an excellent job of conditioning my AC line, but I wish it could maintain a constant voltage and current level for the line.

I was tired of fixing components in my home-theater in my country house.There, the electrial network is very unstable and filled of interferences.This equipment helps prevent major damages, as well as enhances the video and audio quality.
