4A very good utility knife that is there when you need it
By Timothy B. Riley
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1ZNC1T71V9XBL I own quite a few high quality knives including popular German and Japanese brands. I am always willing to try something new and had been wanting to give ceramic knives a try. One of my sons bought this for me off of my Amazon wish list and I am very happy with it.I decided to make this video review so that potential buyers could see it in action. It hope that it is helpful to you.

5Kyocera 5-inch Black Ceramic HIP Blade
By Charles W. Eggerman
Ceramic knives are probably the best kitchen knives made, and Kyocera is probably the best brand of Ceramic Kitchen Knife. Kyocera's line of HIP ceramic blade knives are tougher than their standard ceramic blades. They outperform metal blade knives and hold their edge at least ten times longer that steel blades. I use ceramic blade knives almost exclusively in the kitchen. Metal blade kitchen knives are a thing of the past~!

3great quality knife, but ...
By mcochristian
i did alot of research befor i purchased this knife for a professional chef friend of mine. to be honest , was disapointed with the way it cuts. yes its very sharp, but a 5 year old german steel knife cut better, especially vegtables. my chef friend was disapointed with preformance , especially for the high price of the knife. i will not be purchasing another .
