Honestly I don't know how a bantam rooster runs, but this is the story about how it was named. This hammer is a lot smaller than any of the other hammers offered by T&H, it's just about as big around as an air hose, but it's proportionately just as powerful, high-quality and well-built. It's super light and easy to handle, and it can get into areas that the larger hammers can't. I use it to rough in on soft stones like alabaster, and for detail work on harder marbles and lettering on granites.This is a must have for your stoneworking toolset.

I accidentally ordered the wrong sized hammer ( I needed an half inch shank) they were graciously enough to exchange it for the correct size. The hammer works great and is as good as thevitalian model my wife uses in a studio during the winter in Florida. I recommend it to any sculpter
