The SINGER 2732 sewing machine is a 60-stitch-function machine with many features to make your sewing projects easy. The machine features three needle positions to help get that top stitching in just the right spot; a top drop-in bobbin and easy bobbin winder; a free arm for sewing pant legs and sleeves; horizontal threading for smoother stitching, and adjustable stitch density (especially helpful for use on buttonholes on light or heavy weight fabrics). Comes with an instruction manual in English, French, and Spanish to show you how to get the most from your machine. The 60 stitch functions include everything from basic construction (straight stitching, elastic application) to more advanced construction stitches (different overedge stitches, blind hem) to several decorative stitches (crescent, applique, monogramming). The machine also has a compartment for storing accessories. You will receive stitch cams, a pack of needles, four bobbins, standard presser foot, buttonhole foot, zipper foot, blind hem guide, spool caps, an extra spool pin and felt, spool caps, seam puller, screwdriver, and a lint brush.

As a beginner I give this machine 5 stars. The directions and pictures were clear and easy to follow. The only time the machine messed up was when I did something wrong,... like sew with an empty bobbin. I've made a couple of easy to medium skill level projects (ie. pillow cases and pajama pants) and they've come out wonderfully. I've even started on making a simple Renaissance costume and it's working out pretty good. This machine works great with light to medium weight fabrics. I picked it because of the removable arm which comes in handy when sewing arm holes and the like. I also picked it for the 60 stitch feature (I've only used about 10.)Now that I'm sewing more advance projects I've found it a little harder (but not impossible) to work with heavier fabrics or many layers because the machine isn't strong enough - this is the only reason why I gave it a 4.Even if I get a better machine I'm keepin' this one. I love it. For the cost it's a good buy.

I recently bought this machine to replace the old one... and it's fabulous! I'm glad there's a drop-in for the bobbin unlike my older model-- makes things a lot, lot easier.Runs smoothy... super quality.

It's a bargain for what it does. Super easy to set up with an informative instruction manual. I sew as a hobby, and it takes care of all my project needs. The stitch selection bars on the side of the machine are very intuitive, so it's easy to change your stitches without second guessing. I highly recommend this machine.
