We installed this alternator on a 1999 Ford Taurus with 3.0 DOHC. The installation went relatively well. The original alternator was cracked in a few spots and the bearings were failing. The ACDelco rebuilt alternator is functioning as it should, and appears to be a quality rebuild. It was reasonably priced at just under one hundred thirty dollars - and, there was no core return.
