This table and chair are durable, classic, sturdy, and "ergonomically correct." Best, there is NO ASSEMBLY required! The chair came as is right out of the box, and the table only required me to screw the legs in by hand. It took two minutes. My daughter loves the "cut out" for her tummy as well as the high back to the chair [plus the easy-to-carry feature]. She enjoys drawing, having tea parties with her dolls, and snacking at this table; and so far it has resisted all her climbing and moving. I heartily recommend this product.

Chair sit is 6 inches and table is 12 inches high. Chair sit is very narrow. My son is 18 months old, normal height and it is too short for him even now. When he sits on the chair, his knees are higher than his bottom.It is nicely made, but I will have to buy another table and chair pretty soon. If it is too short for 1.5 years old, it is definitely too short for the recommended 2-3 year old.

Our three year old loves her desk and chair. They are very sturdy and seem well built. They came right out of the box, almost no assembly required. The finish and construction is really nice and she seems very comfortable drawing and playing. Overall very pleased.
