This is a very good projector, considering its age (it is an old model at this point, according to Amazon it came out in 2001).I used it primarily for business presentations, for which it works great. More recently, I have been using it to stream Netflix and DVD movies on our wall at home. Although I don't believe this was designed as a movie watching projector, it actually works pretty well for that! At night, the image is more than satisfactory for movie watching. We are able to project the image on the wall which results in the equivalent of a 10' screen (120 inches!).During the day, you would need fairly dark curtains to enjoy the image, and keep in mind that this projector does not have HD connections (such as HDMI), but if you aren't too picky about having HD and you are on a budget, this is a good projector to have.It is also a lot lighter than it looks!

This is a true value, with many excellent features. I had a reason to call Support, with positive results.I wish they would mention in the information that a USB cable is required to activate the remote...the cable is not included.I'm very happy with the projector; we're using it to hone members' skills on PowerPoint for Toastmaster presentations.
