I used this for a 1996 Chevy C3500 with 5.7 gas engine and NV4500 trans. This is the OEM clutch and the first two lasted 100k miles and the 3rd one lasted 50k miles due to a leaking clutch slave cylinder. Being the first two lasted so well, and the 3rd did alright under bad circumstances, I see no reason to ever buy any other brand of clutch for my 1-ton.
