Extang BlackMax Tonneau Covers feature a stunning all black anodized rail system and space age polymer snaps. The BlackMax also includes a snap cover on all four sides. This allows full access to the front of the bed simply by undoing the snaps on the cab rail. They are 1/2 ton, short 5.8 standard side bed with crew cab. It does not require drilling and thus installs in minutes with no tools. They provide lifetime warranty on frame and 10-year warranty on tarp. This cover has exclusive all-climate engineered design that is fully adjustable for cold weather. They set the stud low for a tight fit in hot weather and slide the stud off, flip it over, then slide it on again to set the stud high for looser fit in cold weather.

This is a great cover. This particular cover is inexpensive compared to other brands and well made. This is actually the second truck for which I have bought this same cover. The first cover was still in great shape when I traded in the vehicle after 5 years of use (no cracks, no rips, no fading, no broken supports, and no lost or broken snaps). When I recently purchased the same cover for my new truck, it was made with the same quality materials and workmanship. I never bother to change the snaps from their winter position because it does not seem to stretch unduly in the warm weather. I do find, however,that even with the snaps in the winter position, it can be hard to stretch and snap in cold weather (a pare of pliers to grip the vinyl makes it easier on your hands). I highly recommend this cover.
