I bought this helmet in Jan 2013 as a birthday gift for hubby, who apparently has wanted a Dallas Cowboys helmet since he was a little kid. It's a really nice helmet, it made a fantastic gift. However, I do think the size is slightly smaller than what the NFL players wear. Also, this particular design is an older style. If you look at helmets worn by NFL players today, they have 2 straps that attach on the side, one fastens under the chin and a second that fastens higher on the side of the helmet. My husband didn't mind and actually said he liked this style better, but it's probably something to consider if your aim is to buy a truly "authentic" helmet. Packing slip was missing when it arrived, although it did ship very fast. Overall, I was pleased with this purchase.

Item just as described. My husband had been looking at autographed helmets. Pricey! So my solution... Buy him the helmet (at a really reasonable price) and let him get the autographs. He absolutely loved it! And he has really enjoyed being able to add autographs at a much lower cost then buying something pre-signed. Plus... Now it is a one of a kind!
