All After Market Ignitions should be this easy to install!

Ok I have owned 2 chevy trucks with 350 Vortec Motor in the past 10 years, and like others like me I have always looked to improve what I have in some way. Well I got this ignition Mallory Hyfire EZ part# 6855M and I love it. You will without question notice a difference in the idle wich is much smoother and reving wich with a light puch of the gas pedal the motor takes off quickly climbing into the High RPM range. Low end torque is great, both of my chevys have a rear end gear ratio of 3.42 and they break traction and lay the rubber down easily with this igniton system. Also the low end Hp to mid range Hp are boosted a significant amount, im personally getting 364 rear wheel Hp on the dyno with near 500 Torque on my LTD tahoe. Granted I do have numerous modificatons on my Limited Edition Tahoe wich are, Ported exaust manifold treated with a Ceramic layer to contain heat, I have kept the exaust from the manifold to the cats untouched but enlarged the piping after the cats to 3 inches to the 3in inlet 40 series flowmaster muffler and dual 2.5 out all the ways to the rear where I had 2 4.5in crome tips installed right next to each other on the right side of the rear bumper. (yeah she purrs real nice like till I step on it then she roars beautifully). I also installed a ram air intake and new maf that is ported and polished + descreend. The throttle body is also ported and polsihed and sits on top of Poweraid intake throttle spacer. I have not molested the intake manifold in anyway. I am running a 170 temp thermostat in conjunction with a Hypertech Max energy power program. I just installed the Mallory ignition and with the mods I have now I notice the difference and love it. Even if you dont have that many mods this one will be an improvement over the puny stock ignition! I rate this Mallory ign 5 stars out of 5 stars for quality and ease of install.

Excellent if your classic is a "driver"

For classic car lovers that like to drive their cars this Mallory electronic ignition conversion is great. My 1967 Camaro 350ci/295hp starts,idles and runs up to the redline like a new car now. Tip: Buy the matching coil (Mallory #29219) and a new Mallory cap and rotor for a complete upgrade. Also, if you pull the distributor (makes installation easier) you will need a new distributor gasket (not included) to finish the job.

This is the first pair of mallory spark plug wires i buy. And like always Amazon has the best prices. the only bad thing about these wires are that i had to buy a speacial sprak plug wire crimper. but they work great with my mallory distributor on 1974 international scout 2 with a 345 engine.
