Installed these on my 96 Jag Xj6, really improved the ride from the worn out OE Shocks, also cured the famous Jag Rattle in the front end. Totally happy with this purchase.

My 1996 XJ6 had begun to have that front end "rattle" from the OEM shocks, and not only did these cure that problem, but my ride improved significantly. I will probably go ahead and replace the rear shocks now. These come with the exact hardware needed although you still must reuse two brackets from the old shocks. This is not a problem because the bracket {large punched washer} is pretty vehicle specific and is needed to properly align the shock tower in the upper mount. There is a sleeve in the upper mount and the upper shock bold MUST be tightened until contact with the sleeve for proper preload on the shock mount. If you don't do this, the rattle will return at some point.
