Lund Arched Loading Ramps
By A. Hernandez
I purchased a set of these and have used them a few times so far - during extreme Colorado snow conditions to haul a 279 lb snowthrower. In addition to their overall length and "arched" incline, I appreciate two key features (the built-in carrying handle and the safety chain) but would recommend some additional features or product upgrades. The handle is nice for toting when folded but the ramp can easily unfold if stacking upright (like against a garage wall). I use a bungie cord wrapped around the non-hinged end to keep each ramp from unfolding for storage. The safety chain is appreciated but a few more inches in length would help (the eyelets on my hitch are the only safe place to secure these but that minimizes the distance between each ramp (I can just barely separate the two ramps enough to get my snowthrower loaded but I may need to lengthen these chains to secure the ramps for hauling other equipment (wide lawnmower, etc). Lastly, and most important for me anyway - the aluminum surface has holes and raised edges to help mitigate slippery conditions but I added another feature for security: anti-skid tape (the black tape that has a rough sand-paper surface on the non-sticky side, intended for use on running boards or other steps). I cut about 26 pcs (4 inch lengths) for each ramp and affixed them to as much exposed aluminum surface area as I could. I'm also adding reflector tape for night use. By the way, be sure to affix the rubber material that is included to the edge that rests on your tailgate to prevent scratching. I also try to park heading downhill when loading/unloading with these ramps to minimize the incline. I hope this info helps.

Very satisfied!
By proud2busmc
We just received the ramp today, so if an issue arises later on I will come back to update. However straight from the box I am extremely pleased with this product. As a female I found it light and easy to maneuver. It was needed to load my husband gsxr 750 into a dodge ram 2500. The truck bed is very high and I searched an extremely long time looking for a longer ramp to help accommodate this. The longer the ramp the less the incline and the easier o load the bike. The ramp is sturdy and didn't shift while loading/unloading without anything more than the lip to hold it on the bed. It comes with a sort of grip like pad to stick on the lip which rests on the tailgate. His tailgate is also rhino lined so that may have helped. All in all it was a good buy for the money because it made the job quick and easy.
