I bought a full set of KYB MonoMax shocks KYB 565009 & 565006) for my 1999 F150 4X4 pickup (which already came with heavy duty shocks as OEM, but had 77k miles on them). These new shocks made a huge difference in handling and ride. The steering seemed much better as the roll is damped out and more controlled. I was not expecting this much improvement! Not too hard to install.

This was a huge difference. It helped with the inertia in turns and stopping. I had 222,000 on the original shocks. Was glad I did this, was worried that I wouldnt be able to tell the differences. 2001 F150 supercrew 4WD
