This is a direct replacement for a factory compressor. Make sure you flush your lines, condenser, and evaporator with A/C flush. Replace the receiver/dryer and orifice tube. Pour half of new refrigerant oil in the new receiver/dryer and pour the rest into the suction port of the new compressor. After securing all refrigerant connections, rotate the compressor 10 times using a clutch holding tool to pump the oil through the compressor. Leak test with nitrogen, pull a vacuum, and charge system. I saved a lot of money by purchasing parts and tools from Amazon.
