5Exactly what it says on the tin...
By Jennifer Marsden
As the Brits say, it does what it says on the tin - the switches are nice and a cool blue LED is included for nights in the forward berth of our boat. The solar panel worked flawlessly and installation on our boat was simple. I dont have any way of knowing how many CFM of air this thing actually moves, but you can at least feel air movement when you have it on "blow in" mode. Recommended for an inexpensive ventilation device, if you have sun available.

5Works just like it should!
By kathleen czech
I thought it was a bit pricy but the thing does work. The light works as well. This is not a tornado fan but is a small solar fan which we will use to move air through our cargo trailer.

4Cheap, very low CPM fan best in its price range
By Matthew R. Abts
I have this Sunforce as well as a Nicro Day/Night fan. The Nicro is out of commission -- these vents are installed on the top of my camper van and the Nicro motor couldn't keep up with light offroading in the National Forests. The Sunforce has independent controls for the light (which you can turn on/off), battery, and fan. The Nicro runs the solar panel through the battery so the vent won't work it something is wrong with the battery (e.g. needs replacement). In general, I find the Sunforce to be the tougher product with better controls. The two products both move about the same CPM. These vents will help keep temperature equalized or mold out of a very small area. 2 of them are about right for the back of an E150 with the windows cracked -- just to give you an idea of how many you'll need.Pleased for the price, but know that what you're getting: All of these products have relatively weak fans. You could build your own for cheaper, or buy the cheapest one, gut its case, and install your own better fan, motor and solar panel -- this is now my plan for the defunct Nicro. You'll use a 4.5" hole saw to install the Sunforce, costs around $35, plus another $10 for an "arbor" to stick in your drill (it's basically like a big drill bit with a connection on the end for the hole saw). If you're cutting through sheet metal, better plan on an 18 volt drill. If you've got a 12, go borrow a friend's 18!
