This part is equal to the original. It looks and fits just like the original. It installed with out any modifications and makes my old Jeep Wagoneer quiet again.Shipping was fast and it came undamaged with all new hardware and gaskets. It was a smooth purchase and a great price, less than half what most folks wanted for the same part. I almost did not order because it seemed to good to be true-you know what they say! But Amazon.com put that saying to rest in this case.
