I got one of these clutches for my 1976 F150. It has the 300/6 in it, and a New Process 435 4spd manual. The truck has an unknown number of miles - my grandfather was the original buyer and all he remembered was that the odo rolled over "at least twice".Anyhow, fast forward to now. I needed a new clutch for it. I got this one because it was cheap . . . what can I say, I am a nickel nurser. So I installed it, kind of eyeballed the clutch linkage length adjustment, and took it for a spin. It works! I can now launch in 2nd gear and do a nice single wheeler peeler! launching in first is not recommended because it is like 7:1 and only good to like 6 or 7mphso there you have it
