I replaced this in my 2000 BMW 323i (e46) in about 45 minutes from the time I took the back seat out until I put it back in (be sure to disconnect your battery...you are dealing with gasoline, after all!). YouTube and various BMW DIY forums were indispensable and gave me a ton of confidence to do the job. It's amazing how easy it is in that car, and it saved me a good $800 in the process. So far, the pump's been running smoothly for about 500-1000 miles with no problems. (The car's just a daily driver, so I can't boast of crazy performance gains, particularly.) I'm hoping that this one holds up for 40-50,000 miles. If it does, then I'll definitely order another one.

Worked great after first buying an AirTech which was more problems. Would definitely buy again! Bosch actually had VDO stamped on it.

Picked this up to replace the fuel pump in a 2000 BMW 323CI. The plastic hanger assembly has 'VDO' marked on it (VDO makes the OEM setup), didnt bother inspecting if the pump itself was Bosch or VDO. Direct replacement, total time to install was under 30 minutes start to finish, works great.
