Took around 1 1/2 hours to change on my 2002 Sprinter (probably an hour longer for the 2004-2006 models, as they have a Turbo-Resonator somewhat in the way). This alternator has a clutch on the pully that the serpentine belt rides on that allows it to slip in one direction. If this clutch seizes up (as it was on the 90 Amp alternator I replaced), you could start shredding serpentine belts.Perfect fit.

This new 150 amp alternator was purchased for my mini RV Sprinter Van to replace the standard 90 amp model. Very satisfied with this new unit, especially the price, over 4 times less expensive for the same alternator available at a Dodge Dealer. Used to keep several large RV AGM batteries charged and works much better than the original.
