FYI.....I too was hesitant about ordering these Obagi serums off the internet due to all of the comments about the color being off...I did it anyway. I can tell you this, mine is always clear when I order form Amazon. I did notice that when I stopped using it and let it sit in my drawer for months it DID turn yellow. I thought hmmmmmmmm when I noticed this....Maybe the dermatologist offices have a slower rate of turnover than Amazon on their products OR is sits exposed in a display cabinet to the lights in the office and gets old and turns yellow.....So to the nay sayers, if you are worried about the color keep it in a drawer for several months and forget about it and it'll turn nice and yellow I promise : ) This is great stuff. I have ordered bottle after bottle in various strengths. Its a known fact that products containing vitamin C darken, chane colors or oxidize as they age, and are exposed to air and light.

I just recently purchased this product from 101 medical spa. I have been using Obagi-C serum for a long time around 3 years which I purchased from the doctor. Only one thing that make me curious is the clear fluid color. Normally the obagi-C serum that I used is yellow clear fluid. I did search on the review but couldn't find the answer some people said it comes with clear fluid but if it turns old the color will change. The texture of the fluid also difference this one is more oily for sure. When I look inside the box you know what I found I noticed tint yellow color inside the box. I am guessing they reused the box...hmm,... and what's that mean? Anyway so don't purchase the cheapy product. It's not worth.

I am now using my second bottle of C Serum 20%. After using about 3/4 of the 1st bottle, I (and my husband and friends) had noticed a real improvement in skin texture (smoother, smaller pores), more even color, and I believe, even firmness.The product is pricey, but really in the long run Not, because you use only a small amount. I treat it like Gold! Make sure top is securely closed and I put it away in a cabinet (dark place) when I finish so it is not exposed to light.....Keep the little screw on top to use when traveling, as the dropper top does not "seat" as tightly and will leak on the airplane and sometimes even in your makeup bag. The rest of the time, keep the dropper top on.
