5You won't believe how clear and what a GREAT spotter this is!
By CharlieB
I purchased mine in April of 2010. Initially, I planned to use this super spotting scope exclusively for shooting, 100-yards out to 500-yards. With a lesser scope, seeing a 5.56mm (.223) at 100-yards can drive you nuts, but with the 100mm objective I can see the target and holes clearly, even in fading light. I love mine! Don't buy a cheaper model if you can afford this one. You will not be sorry when you get it to the range!

5Great scope for the money.
By StreetCop
I have owned the scope for over a month now. It is built pretty solid in my opinion, but efforts seem to have been made to lighten it up some. I say this because I have seen and used scopes that were smaller in size but just as heavy. The scope is big, but I feel its performance is worth the extra size. I purchased the scope for the sole reason of spotting .223 holes in targets out to 200 yards. My 64 year old father and I can easily spot .223 holes at 200 yards with this scope in mostly cloudy conditions without a problem. I feel that 300 yards may be possible, but I HAVE NOT VERIFIED this. It just seems so clear at 200, I know I could see holes further. The case that it comes with is decent. If you treat it like it contains a precision optic you will be fine. The interior is mostly made of dense foam that doesn't seem to give much, but holds it in place well. The latches that hold the case close are kind of cheesy, but have not failed. Again, treat it like it contains a quality optic and it should be fine. The tri-pod that comes with it is decent for use on a bench rest. I bought a solid camera tripod and use that so my review of the tripod isn't after much use. The focus did move off target after several shots, but not by much. I attribute this to the close proximity of the scope to the rifle and the bench rest deflecting slightly while shooting. In closing, this scope is great for what I bought it for (price and usage). I would buy another one, and would tell my friends to do the same. Other than the case which again is more than adequate if not abused, but really if you are the kind of person that would throw an optic around like a gorilla, you probably don't have a need for a quality optic anyway.

5High Quality Spotting Scope
By Robert E. Colapietro
Well, this is a great spotting scope for those who do mid to long range shooting. Optics are great and I would not hesitate to suggest it to anyone.
