Replacing this connector and plate mechanism fixed the operation of the door!We have a 2004 Chevy Venture with two power sliding doors. For a year now the one door would close automatically but not open: You could hear the door motor click but not operate to open the door. While running the diagnostic check, everything was checking out fine except for Mode 3. Here is a brief description:In Diagnostic Mode 3 (Diagnostic Modes 1 and 2 check out fine) the following occurs only the FIRST time I press then release either PSD open/close switch (the overhead console or the right B-pillar):* Energizes the power sliding door unlatch actuator.* Briefly sounds the rear sliding door alarm.* Unlatches the sliding door past the door ajar positionWhen I cycle (pressing and releasing) either the power sliding door open/close switch (the overhead console or the right B-pillar) again, only the rear sliding door alarm sounds briefly. The PSD unlatch actuator DOES NOT energize nor does the PSD unlatch past the door ajar position. NOTE: This problem is only occuring on the driver side PSD - the passenger PSD does repeat the procedure as many times as I cycle the PSD open/close switch.After replacing the connector and plate the door works every time!Pricing:Chevy Dealer - $145Amazon - $60!
