I purchased this for a 2002 Taurus station wagon with low mileage. However, the wagon had an incredibly soft rear suspension causing me to bottom out frequently over small inclines, and the car to experience nasty body roll in corners. I bought these after some research on a Taurus forum, and I am very pleased that I did. Installation on the Taurus wagon was literally under 45 minutes. I kid you not. This was because the rear springs have enough gap in them to just slide the deflated bags in without having to lift the vehicle or remove tires (like some other vehicle installations for airlift). After I put both bags in the rear springs, I routed the air hoses up into the gas cap area and pumped them up with a bicycle pump. I would highly recommend using a hand pump for inflating these because it only took a few pumps with a full size bike pump to inflate these to around 32psi.The difference that these have made is dramatic. I can actually have passengers, or CARGO in the back of my wagon now, and drive on city streets. It doesn't really make the ride THAT much stiffer, but you can tell that the bags are there if the roads get bumpy enough. Nothing at all like an empty pickup truck bed like some have compared it to. More like a very firm suspension....like it should have came with from the factory...but I digress. The bags also significantly reduced body roll in corners, and just provide a more responsive feeling vehicle. I can not think of a better improvement for a Taurus station wagon than these air bags. Best money I will ever put into the car.

My last car had Air Lift 1000 series on for 10 years without a problem so it was a no brainer to install them on my 95 Thunderbird when I needed a little extra carrying capacity.The installation was very easy and as expected they have performed perfectly.

Works well to raise the sagging rear after the Mazda factory air leveling system dies. 5000+ miles so far and no problem.
