Bought this part for my '99 tahoe because the CarX people in Arlington Heights, IL who installed my Maglaflow system ruined the oem cats on my vehicle with their impact tools. The best I could do on an OEM replacement was around $600 so at just under $300 for the Walker cats I feel I've gotten a good value. I had them installed at a local garage and the fit worked our just fine. Quality of the Walker parts is good but the bends in the tubing are not the same diameter as on the OEM parts nor are they as smooth. Walker gives a very good warranty at 50,000 miles and once this part was installed my check engine light stayed off and I was able to pass the IL emissions test no problem.

Had an issue with emissions inspection. These cats were a direct fit. Pulled out old ones and put in new ones. Cleared codes and now emissions legal. Fit was good and new gaskets worked great. No exhaust leaks and more importantly no "check engine light"

I swore I'd never work on an exhaust system again. But, never say never. Doing it myself saved me close to half the cost of bringing my truck to a muffler shop. The Walker exhaust took a little persuading to line up but once I got the exhaust manifold flanges where I wanted them it bolted up perfectly. The O2 sensors threaded right in and all joints were tight. The truck ran noise free at the first startup. If you have to do the job yourself, this unit will definitely work.
