I'm not sure if the Logitec Z4 system is still in production or not, but if you can find it and are in need of a speaker system I highly recommend it. I got the last one in stock at my local target after comparing it to a cheaper $50 model, and I'm glad I sprung for the Z4. I live in a 4-bedroom college dorm/apartment suite, and given that I am on a student loan budget and have a small living area, this speaker set was exactly what I needed to give my entertainment setup the boost it needed, especially since my Samsung LCD TV's audio is pretty mediocre. The remote module has a big volume wheel, a bass wheel, a power key, and jacks for headphones and iPod hookup. 2.1 setups like these are marketed primarily to PC users, but as a home thater setup in a small space the Z4 works superbly. My Blu-Ray movies, PS3 games, and music all sound excellent coming through these speakers, with rich bass tones and clean sounding treble, and the design of the speakers themselves is very slick looking, making them the perfect match to a glossy TV frame or game console like the Wii or PS3. Whether it's for movies, games, TV, or music, this 2.1 set delivers where it counts.
