Fel-Pro Comes to the Rescue

When searching for a replacement head gasket for my 1997 Subaru OBW I read so many negative comments about using third party parts. "If it's not Subaru OEM forget using it" I read on many forums. Well it was an OEM part that failed. I had these Fel- Pros installed that were ESPECIALLY designed for the 2.5L Boxer engines. The HG install went well and all other gaskets in the kit were installed as needed. Now I have good compression and will need no more head gaskets thanks to Fel-Pro. My Subaru runs like new (150K). Now I'm ready for winter and some fun driving!

Thicker gaskets than "Pt2", and for 2.5's with "square" spark plug holes

Features fel pro's attempt at a MLS gasket in a striking blue color. Had a hard time discerning this kit from the "pt2" kit. Apparently this has a thicker head gasket. There are 2 styles of valve covers out there- mone turned out to have different spark plug holes so I ordered a cheap import kit off ebay for $10 shipped to cover that mix up. Note that if you are doing a whole tear down/splitting the block you will need additional things; this kit does not have the crossover passage o rings you need for above the oil pan, and does not have a front or rear main seal. The cam seals included are the black sort, which some would rather have those made out of the brown material. The kit was a good value overall, however and shipped quickly. Depending how well these MLS fel pro's do I would order again.

Fine gasket set.

I purchased this Hs26267Pt1 because I was unsure wat the different was compared to Hs26267Pt2. They are both for the 2,5DOHC but there is a small differens in the valvecovergaskets. I am not sure which one fit my engine, but now I have both.

Great guitar for the bucks, spend $5 more and get some decent strings

I don't know why they put such crappy strings on these guitars. Every review you read of them starts with "once I'd replaced the strings..." But it sounds great, plays awesome, and feels amazing. The colour is perfect, and the sound is clear as a bell. Recommend it to anyone.

Great Guitar for the money

It met my expectations pretty much. The only thing I did was swap the pickups for some dimarzio's (paf in the neck and super distortion in the bridge) and the tone I'm getting was way better than the stock pickups. I also would like to get it set up by a professional at some point and upgrade the bridge. The Bridge pickup on the guitar was pretty decent, but I needed something a little more warm sounding in the neck. It's a great guitar for the price.
