A perfect replacement EGR valve

AC Delco's model 214-1090 replacement EGR valve was a perfect direct replacement for the defective unit on my 2000 Monte Carlo LS equipped with the 3.4l V6 engine. This is the fourth EGR valve replacement on this engine, with the most recent valve failing at 111k.Code P1404 appeared on the OBDII monitor when the EGR failed to function properly. Typically, the EGR fails to open in a timely fashion, correspondingly setting the P1404 flag on the ECM. Replacement of the EGR valve with this AC Delco model 214-1090 cleared the active flag (and MIL or dashpanel light), and after approximately 50 key-cycles the pending code also reset itself.Initially, in 2002, the GM dealer attempted to 'clean' the pintle and orifice of the OEM valve, but this repair was short lived. The active error flag / MIL was set within days of this repair. After the EGR was replaced, the new EGR functioned adequately for approximately 30k miles. In particular, all EGR valves on this engine last between 25k and 33k miles, or 2 to 3 years of engine operation.I highly recommend this replacement EGR valve, but would like to extend an open invitation to AC Delco to examine the design of the pintle and offer a version that is largely self-cleaning, thus extending the operational life of this component.

Used these while hauling a motorcycle

I installed these on my Ford Explorer when I was hauling my motorcycle across country on a motorcycle carrier that was attached to my tow receiver. These worked as advertised. I even drove the truck off road in Mexico for several miles without the motorcycle carrier attached and they held up well, although they limited suspension travel. They are durable, and definitely needed when hauling more weight than the rear springs were designed to handle. I've had these on for a couple of years now, and they are great. I would recommend taking them off, if you can, before going 4-wheeling with your buddies.

My husband was very pleased

My husband was very pleased with the Airlift 59506 Ride Control Rear Air Spring Kit. We purchased the kit to install on our Toyota truck in order to pull our travel trailer and it did the job very well. My husband installed the kit by himself and that may not sound like a big deal but he has advanced rheumatoid arthritis and wrenching is sometimes a problem. The instructions were well written and the install went smoothly.

Smells Divine and works wonders

I'm always trying to give environmentally-safe products a chance and sometimes they disappoint me. Not this time - I love this product! It smells wonderful - like true lavender essential oil and not the overpowering, chemically-based lavender scent of some of the newer, more mainstream products. The detergent is environmentally friendly, and it's safe for my septic system. I especially love using this detergent on my sheets so that I have a nice lavender haven to lull me to sleep each night. What more could I ask for? I'm sold on this product.

Great smell and cleans really well

This product has a great smell and no dye so you know that it wont stain your clothes. I have had traditional cleaners, that color thier detergent for no reason, stain my clothes. What a pain. This stuff works and helps out the environment.

I don't know how I lived without it

This detergent has never failed to get out a stain and it smells amazing! It has a very light lavendar scent that is unobtrusive but will leave you wondering, what smells so good? I also love it because it is environmentally friendly and, when purchased through amazon.com, comparably priced to traditional detergents.
